New russian nux-com\ja3 clone in the making by a studio called Lipsar or raspil (embezzling) if you read it backwards. :smug:

Russian team Lipsar Studio, which received financial support from the Internet Development Institute (IDI), showed the first gameplay of its turn-based tactical strategy “Sparta 2035”.

The events of “Sparta 2035” will unfold in the mid-2030s in Africa, where the forces of the terrorist organization “Daamat” and the independent elite mercenary detachment “Sparta” will collide. As the commander of Sparta, players will have to form a squad, participate in a variety of turn-based battles, understand the true causes of the conflict and maneuver between different factions. The released Sparta 2035 gameplay video lasts just under two minutes and shows the squad at work: Sparta participants clear locations from enemies using different weapons and environmental elements.

The developers staged a demonstration of the gameplay of “Sparta 2035” in connection with the postponement of the demo version, which was supposed to be released on April 30. The team needs more time to polish, eliminate bugs and bring various elements to perfection. The full version of Sparta 2035 promises a story campaign with more than 20 missions, 10 unique veteran mercenaries, the world's reaction to the player's decisions, a variety of enemies and weapons, humor and references to popular culture. The release of “Sparta 2035” is expected in the fourth quarter of this year. Previously, IDI allocated 90 million rubles for development - while, as Lipsar Studio noted, in general, approximately 200 million rubles are required to create the game.
