Space Hulk releases today, but has not unlocked as of this post. Steam estimates that it will unlock in an hour.

I heard that is unpolished 1:1 translation of a tabletop game to a computer game format.

yes. Space Hulk is supposed to be their Jackpot Game that's gonna make them so much Moneys that they will be able to make a huge and phantastic JA:F even in spite of the limited Kickstarter sum.

i have no idea. I guess they haven't because they're small and probably needed most manpower for Space Hulk *shrug*

If this Space Hulk is any indication of what the future JAF is going to be like... I reasonably expect it to be rather faithful to the source material, extremely low budget, clunky interface and poor AI.
If they really wanted to finance JAF through this... all I have to say is: "good luck". Thus far their marketing seems pretty crappy, I'm not sure if they've gotten any support from games workshop in that matter.
But, if they play their cards right with the mission editor and groom the multiplayer community, they may have some success.

Yeah, it has the potential to do well with sales in the long run if they add some polish and fixe some of the annoyances.

No, the implementation looks ok, it's just pretty rough around the edges.
My main gripe with it is this: single player campaign is 12 missions long, with 30 minutes to 45 spent on a mission. Cool beans for 27 jewros.

Computer space hulk is literally impossible to fuck up, and yet they still managed to?

They didn't fuck it up at all...Its EXACTLY what we were promised. A Faithful representation of the Space Hulk board game.

If the walking animation or no customization is your biggest pet peeve its pretty laughable to be honest.
