Last one I played was USM '98, long time ago (around '98  ) and I kinda miss playing something like that, only with updated teams, obviously. So which one is the hottest shit right now? And which one is actually good? Also, no browser games, kthx.

Football Manager series is probably your only option, and FM2010 has introduced a pretty nice tactics system.

whats Soccer?

Soccer: short for Association Football, which is distinct from Rugby Football and American Football. All three are derived from a traditional English game that varied from village to village but generally involved getting a ball from one end of the village square to another and was called football.

Football Manager 2010, no doubt. The 2011 version is due for release in a couple of months, but you're better off waiting a bit until the first couple of patches come out.

So, get Football Manager 2010 now and transfer to the 2011 version around February.
