This is the comments thread for Silent Storm: Sentinels

An add-on for Nival's Silent Storm. Released in Europe since September 2004, we're still waiting on a North American release.

Silent Storm : Sentinels

Looks very promising.
New characters, missions and weapons ( AK - 47  ).

I'm exicited about the new breakdown/jam feature they're adding.

Finally, a use for my engineer besides chucking dynamite.

I think it will turn out really good. The Nival guys are paying attention to what people liked and disliked about the game and what new features are wanted. With a few minor tweaks, Silent Storm would have been one of my all time favorites, this expansion might push it up a notch.

Is this a bullpup configuration of the AK-47, BTW?

what's up with the pic where EVERYONE is shooting together anyway? it's turn based, so rightly only one can shoot at a time.

I believe you can select multiple characters and order them to shoot at the same time, but it would still be on your turn. I'm not positive, though, since it's been a while since I last played.

We've discussed that earlier. My feeling is it's either an artificial screenshot (e.g., something which never happens in-game), or else they've added covering fire.
