At first I thought it was a studio -- people generally aren't 'acquired.' Well, at least not since the 19th century.

Not to mention Shinji and Suda51's latest game, Shadows of the Damned, looking like total ass. I mean, really? That was the best they could come up with?

Shinji Mikami is the dude responsible for such games as Resident Evil and God Hand. And now he's gonna work for Bethesda. Feels kinda.. Weird, man. Kinda weird.

Great. Another sign the end is nigh.

So, does this mean we'll start seeing zombie mud crabs in future Bethesda games?

Beth probably saw all the asian faggotry modding to oblivion and fallout and thought that they might as well bundle it to the next iterations.

“It’s refreshing to find a publisher who understands, trusts, and supports the development of blockbuster games and works to make it a collaborative effort,” said Mikami. “The library of AAA franchise titles ZeniMax owns speaks for itself. We are very excited to be joining ZeniMax and working with a company that is dedicated to creating the best games ever made.”

There is something to be said with a mix of a Person like Shinji and a western developer.

Say you make something like a Bayoneta, Devil may Cry and God hand. Now if you mix that kind of gameplay with the raw power some western developers can put into a game you can have a really interesting and fun games.

Now the problem is that this is bathesda and they have no idea on how to write a good engine.
