There are no horsemen in ST, that would be a 4th enemy type.BTW, can you use horses to knock down opponents in ST (by cutting their stirrup or whatever it's called or by frightening the horse)?

Here you can't even left click on a character to choose him
if you want to attack with a group
which often doesn't work as it should
And yes, shooting everyone was possible in Desperados but it was the easy mode

I wanna see how the console controls look...

I wrote that ("click a number").Or you can use your keyboards 1,2,3,4,5 for shortcuts... like real gamers.
Eh, samurais? Why the fuck can only Mugen kill them? If they're so tough than there should be the option to gang on him. In Desperados some characters had weaker attacks (e.g. Kate) and some opponents were more tough so it made sense to attack with a group. Also I'm pretty sure that attacks were spread there which was sensible for a RT game. Why do you want to stab a poor guard with 4 and then shoot him?
Of course there is, you use shuriken or Mugen's group attack or Yuki's trap and hide far enough so the enemies won't find you, rinse and repeat. It makes the game longer but not harder. At least SD don't have that easy mode, waiting behind a corner, massecring whole bandit lairs with gun fire.
Noticed it when I've read badges. You can stone an ox to kill nearby guards. But there are no horse riders.
I'm not saying it's not but saying that it's better than Desperados is blasphemy considering it's such a rip-off.I honestly don't know why we are having these conversation though. ST is a great game

Look bro its good to be critical of a game. Most of your points are valid. But we can all agree that in this day and age of popamole shit that gets released daily, to get a spiritual successor of Commandos/ Desperados, and in such polished state, and fun to play, is a miracle. I mean no one even knew these guys existed until a week ago and they drop this gem on us.And it's another reason why Desperados is better. Here you can't even left click on a character to choose him, you either have to click a number or a portrait and selecting all is useless and a pain because if you want to attack with a group you can do it only using shadow mode (which often doesn't work as it should). And yes, shooting everyone was possible in Desperados but it was the easy mode, that's why I've finished the game without shooting anybody and later without killing anybody (except for the last 2 missions). The only thing so far that is the improvement in ST are the badges and more elaborate statistics, otherwise it's inferior to Desperados. There weren't such dumb things like Takuma talking to himself for example (first mission, he was talking to the player saying what we need to do).And it doesnt matter because playing Desperados with those shit abilities is a hilarious pain. While the faaar better solution to literally select all and shoot at a corner so that the whole town runs to you while you shoot and reload.

Somebody said that this is Desperados improved in every way, something like that. That triggered me, because Desperados is still superior in a few very obvious ways. Don't get me wrong, Shadow Tactics is wonderful and I'm extremely grateful for a "real Desperados 2", but you don't talk about the love of my life (Desperados) like she's not beautiful any more and expect me to keep quiet.I honestly don't know why we are having these conversation though.

Should be relatively easy with killing.ironmanning
NO! Desperados 2 & 3 are bad. Play the first one.Which Desperados do you suggest? Both? Jump directly to the second?
Pity that first Desperados is unplayable with windows 8 (probably win 10 too).

Do you know if it works alright for Windows 7?
Yeah ... I found that after my latest reformat and Win 7 reinstall, the game still runs choppy with cursor issues, basically unplayablePity that first Desperados is unplayable with windows 8 (probably win 10 too).

It does, but you need some workarounds to get it to werk properly.
