Biomod in action on last pic.

As you can see, most augmentations can now be permanently enabled, since they drain energy only when they're actually doing something (reducing damage from attacks / environmental hazards).

F3: Ballistic Protection
F5: Aggressive Defense System
F9: Environmental Resistance
F10: Energy Shield

Items like Ballistic Armor or Hazmat Suit work similar. When you use them, they no longer degrade with time, but with use. So you can have them permanently enabled, and replace them with new ones when they "degrade" to 0.

And some augs are now passive, like:

F7: Run Silent

tl;dr

One of the best "gameplay-enhancing" mods ever and much better than Shifter (its base).

Also, no crashes when using it, at least when combined with Enhanced OpenGL renderer:

Replaying Prey 2006

Graphics are nice, better than Doom 3 and Quake 4 on the same engine. Story/characters are really bad like a children's cartoon, despite the mature rating.

Level design is pretty good by corridor shooter standards, extremely linear but there are tons of gimmicks and puzzlets involving gravity manipulation, spirit world, impossible geometry, etc. so that it isn't monotonous. A lot of time spent in flying vehicles, more than I remember.

Encounter design sucks, enemies just appear out of nowhere right next to you. Bullet sponge enemies that shoot splash damage rockets, that you can't reliably dodge because of slow movements speed.

So have to give them creativivity points for the original setting, level design, and all the gimmicks. The actual shooting is forgettable though, but since all the weapons are alien at least it's not AKs and M16s again.

Man, the misguided game-play and game design and all the memes making fun of its interrogation system really makes you forget how good LA looked in this game.

IDK, but I suddenly started to miss Amalur. Even the overwritten fantasy dialogue.

In pic 2 I look back at the room I just came from (pic 1). In pic 3 I'm in a hallway on the opposite side of the wall. But what is that wide wall for? How do I get into the secret room inside the wall? Floor plans tend to be so stupid even in games where they shouldn't be.
