Yeah, so, the nomination phase is over. Maybe when one of the site admins helps me to get the actual poll done we will have some voting. Thanks!

If we can agree on 8 games to kick out of that list, you can simply create another poll with 30 options.

You can remove Hoplite (Android), which I suggested, since it's very basic and probably nobody ever heard of it.

SpurguX (Finnish) can be removed since it's fucking Finnish and nobdy will play it.

We need another 6.

Another idea: Create 2 separate polls for text-based roguelikes and those that have graphics. If a game is both text-based and has optional tiles, you can include it in both polls.

I appreciate both of your suggestions, and I have already removed thsoe two games you mentioned (as I agree it is very unlikely anyone has played them). Regarding the latter: I could probably make that distinction after the voting is done. That is, divide the results between "text only" and "tile only/has optional tiles".

I'm still hoping DarkUnderlord will make the poll I requested. I want people to voice their opinion on all the games, not just the ones they consider to be the very very best.

It's probably a good idea to divide them now, as that can be done before voting. Then you don't need anyone to mess around with setting up a vote. Usually that is only done once every couple years for the official GOTY Codex vote and things like that.

Hmm, I'll see tomorrow if DarkUnderlord keeps being lazy about it. I guess I'll keep it simple and ask people to vote for the ones they liked, and call it a day...
