Looks like they went back Gothic 2. Neat-o.
I wonder when they will ever make NPCs actually take off their equipment when they're performing trivial/daily activities. Sweeping with a staff on the back? Some guy reading a book in his study with a big sword on his back? They look like e-larpers in WoW.

Not bad, its rare in today's age that I see a trailer that looks decent, but that one does. Hopes this game is good.
The comments really make me cringe. When I watched the trailer, everything about it screamed "GOTHIC!!!" alright, especially the NPC animations. Then I read the comments

Well it's good that the game looks like gothic, but even the clothes and area textures look like they are straight from Gothic. Is it so hard to make some new textures? I mean the game is called Risen, not Gothic and it's supposed to be a different setting.
