We haven't posted about Code 351's dystopian tactical RPG Project Haven since its appearance during Gamescom 2021. Development on the game has steadily continued since then, including participation in two Tacticon festivals on Steam with a well-received demo build. The game's release window was officially postponed to 2023 back in September, but its appearance during the OTK Games Expo, one of the minor indie events associated with Summer Game Fest, suggests that launch day might finally be in sight. Its new gameplay trailer is primarily a showcase of various combat mechanics.

According to last month's development report, Project Haven is now entering closed beta testing. Hopefully a release date will be announced once that's done.

Looks possibly interesting — don’t understand why there are cinematic sequences.

The UI/UX needs a major overhaul. Poor contrast with the 3D environment and other aspects gonna ruin people’s eyesight.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
For those who are just now learning about this game through the newspost: go try the demo if it's still up. If it isn't, go read impressions of the demo over in the main thread. This thing is seriously promising.
