6 man party is just too much.

With 6 people you never really trade anything hiring people because you always have double.
With 5 people you at least have to think who you get.

My ideal party would be 3-4 people but PoE is high fantasy setting so imo 5 fits the best.

A shame if they reduce to 5 player party, and stuff like that should definitely be in the presentation for the crowdfunding.

Still, backed like a motherfucker.

:yeah:

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
One interesting thing that I have seen is that pledges are higher than investments at the moment. This has not been the case for previous FIG campaigns.

Why are they bringing back (and putting so much focus on) Pallegina and Aloth when poll after poll shows they're highly unpopular companions? Perhaps they realized that without MCA they can't write Durance/GM so they just gave up?

I like 6 at least, if not more (ToEE).

6 works well in games that have a lot of different classes and builds. You can cover your mainstay classes with the first 3 or 4 slots (Fighter/Mage/Cleric/Thief) and then have 2 classes to experiment with. For extra wreck you can choose between 2 different types of similar classes in each slot (i.e. Fighter/Samurai, or Mage/Bishop, etc.), thus giving you even more options and more unique synergies you can create. For crazy extra wreck you can have an extra slot for a summon and/or follower.

That said, 5 is fine for this game and I'm cool with that.

What a freakshow. Carrie Patel as narrative designer, that's like hiring a janitor. Dmitri Berman has bright lipstick on his lips and mascara on the eye lashes.

Freakshow.
 Carrie was a narrative designer on the first game and DLC

She also did the God quest vision descriptions, so we know she's not a bad writer.

... though she also wrote Maneha - the only SJW companion.:?

Eric Fenstermaker was Lead Narrative Designer on both.
I know. Does it say Carrie is lead in the pitch video?
Hence the question: Who is lead?

The polls are weird because in actual forum comments the dominant opinion I saw was that people hated Grieving Mother and Durance. I don't feel any particular desire to see GM (she was so thematically centred around the Hollowborn and that's over now) but I'd like to see Durance come back at some point.

Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
I'm kinda alright with the change to 5 characters in a party. I usually go for 5 even when it's max 6 if it has any benefits like more xp for individual party members.

They are Sawyer's and Patel's characters, I guess that might be part of the reason.
