I played the first demo and it was indeed good though suffered a bit from amateur Deus Ex modder syndrome of having levels larger than they ought to be.
'Realism' killed level design

Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture
I couldn't finish the demo because I got lost on a Bridge to Nowhere, hopefully they changed their level designer's contract so they aren't getting paid by the square meter.
They hired Shackleton to design maps. If they're bad in the released game, give him grief. :M
Ummm, your .txt is way off on that one. I had no idea this game even existed until I saw your alert from this post.

This... game looks so wierd, has anyone played it? is it any good?

I would also like to point out that the current Word-filter for A.nime is kind of fucking the news post on the Front page, are you sure you want that?
Do we DarkUnderlord?
I want to point out that the word filter also affects URLs. For example, this link https://www.pcgamer.com/welp-the-cyberpunk-2077-shitty Japanese pornographic cartoons-made-me-want-to-give-the-game-another-shot/ gets autocorrected and becomes broken.

I tried the demo and it's pretty janky. I love the big level and climbing around though.

Yes, can confirm.

You should check out our thread title:
https://rpgcodex.net/forums/threads...pornographic-cartoons-cyberpunk-poland.136074

the music and the flashing text are plain annoying. Getting some ADHD vibes here.
Your slow boomer brain simply can't comprehend the autistic brilliance that is breakcore. Keep listening to Led Zepplin on repeat gramps.
This trailer was sorta tailored for the audience it was presented to, since Realms Deep is primarily an event that hosts mostly twitch shooters. But fun fact: I am still planning on having one of our release trailers be a pure aesthetics thing set to the tune of a slow, depressing alt rock song.

Reminds me of this pretty good half-life 2 clone https://store.steampowered.com/app/1224600/G_String/
G-String is kino and it’s truly inspiring, especially as a solo project. More people should be playing this one.

I spent a good three hours in the demo and loved it enough to throw some money at it on Kickstarter. It's great and easily my most anticipated game right now.
Thank you for the support! We hope not to disappoint.

No GOG release? Oh fucking bullox!
That will be handled by people with way more leverage than us (Top Hat Studios), along the console releases, so don’t worry. Getting on GOG is no easy feat, even if your game is exemplary.

This feels like somthing created by a time traveler from early 2000 polish manga scene.
More innocent time when everything was cringe but we didn't know it.

I wasn’t into anime back then, I did find it cringe, beyond selected titles like GitS (still surprised Eden got translated into polish, that was my jam). That cover is charming in a way, though.

this game seems like my dream game, but i've been burnt out by other games that seemed to be my dream game at first, but were generally half baked. regardless, i'm fairly optimistic about peripeteia
It is our dream game, for sure.

'Realism' killed level design
Agreed! That’s why peri’s levels are supposed to be dream-like.

They hired Shackleton someone from here to design maps. If they're bad in the released game, give him grief. :M
Here’s the list of devs:

The two mappers (shack and snakku) are auteurs and each one’s levels will have a distinct feel to them.

I will not apologize for adding that bridge. This is funny enough to justify it.

Stuff like this was soul.
We need to return to the cringe, to the lands of sincerity. Where people could make stuff like this just cause they wanted to.

All right, well whoever this is is making maps so blame him.
Shack is a cool dude, he does the other half of the levels. He made the tutorial, I made Chasm/Memorial.

Been watching peripeteia's thread for some years now, i still don't like the anime thing about it, but i'll try out the game when they release it

Though by the trailer it looks like they shifted from the Deus Ex inspiration to System Shock 2, but it's alright for me since i love both games

I want to thank you personally for designing massive levels that allow the player to climb everything. Climbing random shit is like my favorite thing in video games and the fact that you can climb wherever you want in Peripeteia is a big reason I'm looking forward to it so much.

Please add more content to each level or make the speed augment even faster to make getting through the nothing take less than 30 minutes each time. The levels are fine but there is not nearly enough content in them to justify their size. That is my biggest criticism from the demo. Looking forward to it.
