Question to OP: Does your little code count original parrot posts only or does it also take into account quoted parrots? Also...what about original parrots in quotes...for no reason?

I believe the coder said it takes all parrots, even those in quotes into account (but only the :M+M and not the bastardized rotating electric parrot some people link to off-site).

Quoted parrots are no less legitimate than their non-quoted counterparts. These "double counts" allegations are racially insensitive and make my parrotkin blood boil.

Countring quoted parrots is just lame and messes up the (extremely important) statistics.
Fix pls.
