Were these games ever really good? It's essentially Square's attempt to make a Resident Evil clone using sex appeal to sell copies. I don't remember much about it except none of the plot many any sense whatsoever.

Parasite eve 1 was interesting in some ways. I beat the first one, but it was admittedly rather clunky in some ways. Experimental is definitely accurate. The writing, at least the english translation was... not perfect, let's say.
Never played 2, but that's the one that went with tank controls for some insane reason right? What a weird backwards decision that was.

Never played two, but also really never liked the resident evil games. Parasite eve 1 was clearly descended from them, but yeah I'd say it was better than resident evil 1 or 2.
