Ukrainian development studio Dreamate and Fulqrum have announced New Arc Line, a fantasy steampunk CRPG due out in 2024 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Check out the reveal trailer above and the first screenshots in the gallery below.

New Arc Line is set in its fictional world's gilded age of magic and technology. Dreamate says you'll "invent deadly gadgets or master the arcane arts, fight, steal or smooth-talk your way to the top, make foes and allies, fall in love, get involved in a massive conspiracy, and influence the course of history."

Combat is tactical and turn-based, with you commanding your customized character and the party you recruit. You can be as good or as bad as you want to be as you explore New Arc Line's diverse world that spans everything from magical forests to seedy back alleys and everything in between.

Dreamate describes New Arc Line as a "story-rich single-player RPG." We'll have more on this game as development progresses.

Waste of a setting, should be an Elder Scrolls or Deus Ex clone.

Presentation over gameplay kind of game

also looks very cringe
Well, Devs are Ukranians

Wokeness, 1000 genders, Black Vikings, sex with animals, super cringe and totally unebelievable characters and narative, shallow gameplay and sign-up for NATO/Ukranian Army banner on Game's Main Menu screen

Expect all of that, and even MORE shit. Infinitron will love & shill it like it's his Firstborn $on

nothing here like arcanum except the setting

even the setting in arcanum is dark melancholic steampunk, meanwhile this game looks more like hipsterpunk

Looks like a mix between Fable and BioShock: Infinite. I'm interested in seeing the tone that they choose for the game. Hopefully, it's something that will let you have a laugh. I guess this will be the nu age Arcanum, huh.

From their choice of music for the trailer, it seems to be that way. But what can you do, POV: it's 2023 and you need to sell your game somehow

4 members party limit. Why? Why every game has to have small party nowadays :(
Yeah... Mainstreaming? So that their potential clientele doesn't get overwhelmed. My presumption, frankly.

This is alpha state footage, but seems there could be enough space left for one or two more members added. At least with this UI. If the game is any good maybe patching it in could help.
Be nice if devs offer such right from the get go - like 'add up to 5-6 members...' No must. Shouldn't be hard. Doesn't mean one *has to* drag that many along all day, but could if need be.
Even my beloved Incubation had let me handle half a dozen fighters in my squad, if I wanted, and that game was from 25 years ago. :|

Steampunk, arcanum-style...

It looks quite interesting.

And the combat look like real time with pause tactical, with free camera... Interesting~

The only complaint I have is a minor one, which is Voice Acting quality is too bloody normal~ But oh well~

Note! Worthy to test~
