This is stupid. It's like asking if you like the song "Call Me Maybe. " Everyone is going to say they hate it and it is shit but rock out to it and sing every word in their car. Below the codex.Let see which game will win.

I'm getting a real warm fuzzy for how crucified BG is.
Joined: FridayJust shows how few people on here know what the word overrated means. For something to be overrated, people have to give it a lot of hype or credit. Baldur's Gate 2 is where all the hype and credit is at, no one is saying that Baldur's Gate is gods gift to gamers. People just use the word 'Baldur's Gate' to describe the entire series, but what most people really mean when they say that Baldur's Gate is awesome, is that Baldur's Gate 2(!) is awesome. Just by making a quick search on google you'll find that most people adore Baldur's Gate 2, and when a new person ask which game to start with, many people will tell him/her to jump over Baldur's Gate and start with Baldur's Gate 2 instead. BG:EE did help a little bit here as it improved the graphic and gameplay of Baldur's Gate without needing to spend an hour modding your game, but it still doesn't bring Baldur's Gate up to the same amount of hype that Baldur's Gate 2 has.
Just by looking at the votes thrown at Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate 2, you'll clearly see that people don't know what they are talking about.

If someone were to make Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord today, I would not consider it to be an RPG.
