Some people who call themselves "industry veterans" launched a new company called Emogence and a new game called Grafan, same website. Not much is known about Grafan at this point other then the fact that it's a first person action RPG that will feature mandatory revolutionary gameplay and will take "the next big leap" somewhere.

Prior to his entrance into the game industry, Mr. Boyd lead the development for a number of products including the first 3D viewer for seismic data analysis. Before that Mr. Boyd worked in the aeronautics industry and was responsible for developing virtual reality systems, satellite modeling and display technology.

I'm not sure about gameplay, but the setting will be definitely based on an accurate seismic model.

Common, guys, don't be so negative. It's teh indastri veterinars we are talking about! One guy worked with other developers and learned a lot from them during coffee breaks and another made that cool seismic viewer thing. If they don't know how to make an uber cool next generation RPG, then who does?!

Gotta love people who quote their own press release.

Need some work on the lighting. And unless they have a seriously impressive new rendering algorithm, that thing is going to run as slow as shit from a dehydrated man.

Wow. That website could do with a few big leaps forward in ultra-realistic, immersive web-surfing experience and a groundbreaking re-design that generates pages on-the-fly and showcases high resolution texturing coupled with advanced techniques.

Hell, I'm an industry veteran. That doesn't mean jack. If that's all you have to hang your hat on, you're going about things the wrong way.

I don't know who Kylie Minogue is :(

And let me get this straight, on the home page, they use positive quotes from the stuff they've written themselves? Wow I never seen any company be that desperate for hyping of their games.

Yep, the quotes on the news/home page link directly to their press release.

Why bother reporting on this game except to make fun of it? LOL, I haven't laughed this hard in a long time, these guys should hook up with interplay, it'd be a match , made in the spirit of mismanagement and bad judgement.
