shadows of mordor at least give me something to let me fill that void myself, be interesting mechanics, puzzles, a captivating plot, a beautiful landscape... both this game and som have none.

:what:

are you telling me both these games have interesting mechanics, puzzles and captivating plots?
dude, seriously?

I played this game :negative:

Why didn't I listen to this thread. It's shit. Even the car drives like shit.

Good thing I pirated it but still...

Not trolling. Tell me any vehicle in a non-driving game that's as fun to control as the rocket powered tank busting through walls in this game.
Mad max
You're not wrong ... but man the game overall was a huge disappointment.
But, explosions. And then more and bigger explosions. And teh bestest doggo there ever was. And then Chumbucket's voiceovers. And also the 'two-button combat' that's more fun to watch and be part of than many other wannabe complex systems. I wote for pure MadMax fun instead (if somewhat repetitive after 20-40 hours).

Interesting video about how George Miller spent a long time trying to get a Mad Max game off the ground but was sidelined by Warner Bros. who gave all his notes and concept art from 15 years of Fury Road development to Avalanche without his consent. This is why they were able to release a game only a few months after Fury Road opened in cinemas, and well, it's about what you would expect given the circumstances.

Damn shame.

Miller also made a deal with the devil, Mad Max game made by Interplay could have been very good.
