Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire
If certain elements of the voting block were less repetative in their arguments, I'd go for A. That seems HIGHLY unlikely.

I'm just interpreting the last rushed vote as a sign that treave doesn't have patience for this shit anymore.

I have no really arguments and I didn't read anyone else's, so sorry if I'm repeating someone's sentiment.. I just want to play out the conclusion of the LP. We've invested a lot of time in the story and characters and I want to see an ending that has more to do with each of the characters and storylines we've come to know thus far. I think that that can only be done adequately over the course of a few updates. Don't let LP fatigue deprive us of a proper ending to the LP we've spent the better part of a year on.

I think we've already rolled back plenty of times you degenerates. And this ending is pretty badass especially compared to Youxia city or Zhang's Viagra. If treave indulges us with some postmortem discussion then I am content to stop here.

Well, it's not a rollback, we're rolling with the consequences this time. Personification of hatred and ambition and whatnot.

No, we are an unholy union of Doombreed and Kairos Fateweaver. This is perfect.

No, we have been gifted with the power of the Codex itself: Glittering gems of hatred.* (Oldfag reference)
*Yes, I know that was a NMA thing, but this place was home to many of the same sentiments.

And having read enough pages of arguments, I'm rather confident from preceding patterns of voting that it would not have been successful even if I offered a full day. Especially after I already posted two blatant hints.
And having participated in enough votes, I've seen how often a discuss that has gone on long enough can lead to surprise twists where people uncover new reasons that cause landslides for new options. Taiji Sword for instance was not expected to win at all during the last technique vote, but suddenly it pulled out far enough ahead to win. If you already posted two blatant hints, then perhaps more time would've allowed us to figure them out.

At any rate, even if another few pages of discuss would've gone nowhere, at least we would've reached that result of our own accord.

We got two rolls that didn't work out and two hints from treave, followed by a last-ditch mercy update by treave to give us yet another "second chance" to make things right, which led to a bandwagon that was unlikely to change. It's done, dude. He gave us way more outs and more opportunities here than I would have expected, and it just didn't work out in the end. Considering that the option we voted for was initially conceived as a BAD END, I'd say treave has gone above and beyond in terms of throwing us life preservers here.

Instead of beating a dead horse and dragging things on, let's just plow ahead and see how things progress from here on out. I am fine with either A or B, though of course I'd prefer A.

Again, it's not a rollback. We just play on knowing what the consequences of this decision will be. Geez, this happens every time.

Dice rolls don't mean much for me. I think I already gave my opinion on Luck & Consequences. It's not just because I dislike getting bad results. A positive result feels cheap too. Honestly, that's why I stopped participating in Fangshi's CYOA. Too much dice rolling to determine outcomes.

As for the bandwagon, bandwagons change. In a vote like this, we usually want to analyze the shit out of everything before we really stick with something as "this makes the most sense." In that regard, this discussion was woefully immature when the winner was declared.

Whaaat? What the fuck happened here? I leave two days and it's all over? But what about the ten swords meeting? What about the rest of the story?

For fucks sake. A, though I want my rollback, story is going bananas

It basically is a rollback. There's a chance we fuck up even worse negating the God of War ending or as I'm sure many people are holding out hope, we might somehow reverse the possession.

Don't worry bros, if we decide to discontinue this LP, I have a Superhero idea that will honor the legacy of Xu Jing:

WUXIANGQIANKUN-MAN

Strength: B
Speed: B
Intelligence: B
Power: D (Mimicry)

Note: WuxiangQiankun-Man can copy any physical movement that is humanly possible, instantly, so long as he sees it first. If he sees a champion fighter on television, he can perform their moves just as proficiently as they can for a short period of time. Seeing a gymnast in action allows him to become just as nimble as they are, and seeing a sharpshooter use a rifle makes him a crackshot. However, the effects are only temporary. Cultivating his powers will allow him to remember skills permanently, absorb knowledge from books/data at a quick glace, and even to mimic powers.

On a serious note, I've always hated characters that have been able to mimic other people's powers. I'd rather come up with something cool and more creative than that. But I suppose that once we get our Mimicry Powers up to Level 4, we'll finally be able to have fun.

It's not a rollback in that we're not undoing any of our choices. It is a rollback in that we got an ending and we're choosing to keep going.

WUXIANGQIANKUN-MAN cannot resist the urge to use his power as some sort of retarded trump card even if he is told repeatedly by lambchop and others that it's a bad idea, thus opening him up to possession by LP-ending demons.
fix'd. :M

BTW, officially butthurt that no one voted M. For women. I.E., to gather the world's largest harem.

THIS IS WHAT YOU BROS GET FOR FORSAKING THE HAREM!!!1

Brochop, I love your spontaneous rage-fests and tongue-in-cheek snark, but this is the second-best ending next to trolling the demon that we could have picked. Shulgi> Crazy Ahura 2.0
