Ah, yes, The Invisibles, I know these comics: Blatant author self-insert and more mind-fuck that you can take. MOAR!!!

The author self-insert is actually a rather interesting thing. It'd be more accurate to say that Morrison wrote King Mob and then replaced himself with him IRL. And then it gets really weird following the time when both had a near-death experience at the same time and Morrison was convinced they had a mystical connection that influenced the other.

Not sure if I agree over an LR though, this stuff is easy to acquire and will likely never go out of print due to having One Of The Best Comics Of All Time status.

Anyway, what's with the computer colouring instead of the original hand-made colouring? Is is just a side-effect of the scan, or is there actually a re-coloured version?

Grant Morrison
Oh.
So you are going to stand for order, stability, stagnation and decay instead of anarchy, change and entropy? Just know that in the former, an ugly caterpillar is forever an ugly caterpillar and never dies. In the latter, it will grow and change into a beautiful butterfly.

The Invisibles is cool, but kind of overrated.

I really like King Mob's outfit, though.

I'm only doing volume 1 so as to encourage any other reader to buy the other volumes. As for the colouring either of those explanations fit since these images were uploaded from a torrent.

The Invisibles is quite famous and quite old, many of the comic fans here have probably already read it.

Thanks for sharing this stuff. The Invisibles is a comic I'd heard alot about and I've been trying to find it for a while but couldn't. It's great to read Grant Morrison when he's using original characters.

More, please

Then again, with Morrison it's a bit shady when he's working on an original character, since oftentimes he reinvents or redefines the characters he's taking over.

PS: Jim Crow is the best Invisible.

EDIT: Also, you've gotta post up to Lord Fanny's backstory issues. Tranny comics for teh Codex!
