I know what you're thinking. A (mostly) unknown, new(ish)fag starting an LP of Wizardry 6. This can only end badly, right?
I'm actually going to agree with you on that sentiment.
Why? Well despite my age and long history of playing with computers, I never really had the chance to play the Wizardry series (being in the boonies an hour away from any store even slightly computer related would do that), and after taking my old CRT monitor out of storage and picking up a hefty pile of graph paper I decided to take care of that. My one mistake was bringing it up in the Shoutbox, as now I seem to have gotten myself roped into doing an LP... then again, I did promise an embarrassing LP after my recent lousy performance in a Bloodbowl league, and publicly derping blindly through Wiz6 certainly will fill the 'embarrassing' part of that. But that's a totally different story...
Yes, that's right, I forgot to mention that this is going to be a blind LP. So please keep any potential spoilers to yourself during your inevitable urge to tell me this won't make it to page 3. Or page 4. Or whenever.
*sigh*
Okay then, guess this is the point to lay out some of the ground rules:

I do believe the best way to answer this would be to give a quick look at my resume of recent Ironman playing of Daggerfall:
and a short time later...
So yeah, I probably shouldn't be trying to Ironman this game. On the other side of the coin though, I won't be save scumming for better stats on level ups or the like, so reloading will only be on TPKs. If someone ends up dying/getting stoned too many times, then there's a chance I'll have to replace them (applications are open of course).

Hehehe, no. First, I'm not that much of a power gamer, and secondly the basic character ideas were provided by volunteers in the Shoutbox. Beyond that, this is going to be my first play through so beyond looking at a couple of guides to get a better idea on how they work (and seeing that things like a Hobbit Priest don't appear to be the most optimal starting point) I'm going through this completely blind, to the point where I'm happily going to map it out myself (and chances are I'll be posting pics/scans of my maps at the end of each update to give an idea of my progress). So again, please keep spoilers to oneself, or try to phrase as simple hints of 'maybe go back and check so & so' or the like.
Oh, I also should mention I'm not re-rolling shit to get better stats, if the first roll gets the class someone wanted to be, that's the end of it. (See, isn't it good this isn't an Ironman?)

That all depends on if I can finish this of course. Starting with suboptimal builds in a blind play through with basic hopes of being able to change classes at a certain point probably doesn't give the best of hopes that completion and a transfer can happen.
Then again, if I can get there and feel motivated enough to continue into the two games (also will be blind), why not? Just no promises though.

Yeah, please direct all complaints, death threats and the like to the LP's instigators & main cast: Scrooge, Irenaeus, corvus, zwanzig_zwoelf, shiteatingnippledick, and sea (yes, even you sea).
I, on the other hand, will happily accept all compliments, praise, and brofists of course.
...assuming there are any that is.
Also, this is probably where I should mention that this is likely to be narrative & Larp heavy in the beginning, but hopefully actual game progress will increase per update.
