There are three types of undead units that Gwen has to face on this stage (all of them are melee - only):
1) regular skeletons
2) tentacles (ultra shy & fragile)
And my favorite:
3) female traps
Yeah, they are ethereal if you want to attack them. But if you absorb close to them, they show their true nature:
This game can look p. fucked up sometimes (plants, tentacles, titty ghosts):

Valkyrie. Chapter 4, Act 5 - Demon Lord Odin
There's one problem in this fight - Odin's physical power. He has only two melee attacks - the stomping one:
And the regular one. The problem is, both of them inflict more than 100 HP of damage.
So, he can kill you in three hits...
That's why Painkiller is so important in boss battles.
Gwen uses Painkiller, casts Overload and starts the fight.
Here you can see Odin's (weak) ranged attack:
Overload shows its usefulness here:
When damaged, Odin will switch to a new attack - he will use his own gigantic Psypher!
Luckily for Gwen, its power is greatly reduced thanks to a certain incident that happened in the past...
After a while, Odin has enough:

Eating it will not only give you 1200 HP EXP but will also increase your HP by additional 7 points.
This is the best and the easiest way of increasing HP.

Her next destination should be the land of Volkenon
But let's re-visit the forests of Elrit first:
Revisiting areas is similar to visiting them for the first time: timer is present, you have to find a map, mid-bosses show up, etc.
But if you move onto the Boss Stage:
You will be transported back to the base:
Gwen grabs as many items as possible (mainly mandragoras) and creates some strong Materials. She finds a new potion:
It cures "frog" status (or inflicts it).
Having big bags is a real bliss:
We can find a new mandragora here as well:
This little cunt can defend herself:
By setting you on fire (Flame level 1)!

Since it's a 4/5 stage, we can count on many enemies. Let's utilize it:
After using Lucky Mix, almost every defeated enemy will drop a small chest:
Most of them contain Ragnan Silvers, and that's precisely what we need ATM.
Gwen receives her prize:
She uses it, changing four Materials 0 that were laying on the ground into... four Muggle Seeds...
Great fucking Mix indeed...
It's time to sell the unnecessary stuff to one of the vendors. 53 Ragnan Silvers should be enough for our feast:
Gwen goes back to the Pooka Village, buys 5 Shrimps
And eats five Seafood Salads in the Restaurant:
Of course we can continue increasing HP this way, as long as we have Ariel Coins, Onionnes and Shrimps:
But that would be POPAMOLE...
Having enough Carroteers she is nearly invincible anyway (we can create Painkillers and Healing Tonics using them):
It's time to continue with the main story:

@Radisshu: During my 1st playthrough I quickly realized that Psypher EXP goes up much faster than HP EXP (at least if you're good at avoiding damage). So I did some grindan to bring HP Level at least close to Psypher Level. Which helps a lot in later chapters, preventing from being one-shot by bosses for example.
