I expected the rats to take Child Labour path just for style, but I guess Education is the best choice in game terms.

This is not Warhammer 40k so there is no need of going overtly grimdark and being evil just for the sake of it. Remember that the rats are supposed to be amoral rather than immoral. If something "good" brings greater benefits to the economy and future of the Under-Nation, including of course their world domination plans, than something "evil", they'll choose it instead of "evulz".

My Bioware-fueled brain cannot comprehend!
The rats sacrificed industrial growth through child labour in favour of having educated manboons.

EDIT: Mutant Army campaign on the side of the Jihad finished (well, I dragged out just so see all the tech descriptions and quotes I hadn't seen), as well as a Reservation campaign. Gotta say, there's massive differences between the number of leaders factions have. I mean, the Mutants have an absolutely ridiculous number of leaders, a big deal of them skill 3.

I am disappoint my other recently resurrected HoI2 LP remains bereft of comments since the latest update, as do my own take on the fad of IFs, but w/e. There are two updates ready for more Rat Diplomacy, in any case.

Road to Chicago

lpddfosupremacy001.jpg

Several news come. First, with the recent rapid expansion of the Under-Nation, once again problems arise to keep everything that was conquered under control. Then better news come as the unification of Kwanzania by a new dominant sentient species proceeds in a great ratio of success. The manboons have proved themselves far less capable of ensuring their sovereignty over Earth than once thought:

:patriot:

Meanwhile scrap metal was distributed to the masses, and even to the slaves, because there wasn't much else to do with it that would bring greater benefits.

lpddfosupremacy004.jpg

The Supermutants have used badly the forces under their direct control, and now things complicate for them as an attack is launched against Green Bay, supported by nothing else than the most elite Brotherhood Paladins equipped with their power armors, and soon even more enemies join the attack.

lpddfosupremacy006.jpg

Thus, a flanking attack is launched against Madison to support the defenders of Green Bay, and if proven possible, secure Madison as well. The battles are very tough, and the Brotherhood forces are no pushovers even when the tide is against them.

lpddfosupremacy007.jpg

The Mutants didn't succeed at their defense of Green Bay, and now most of their military would end stranded. Strategically this was better for the Under-Nation, for a horrible military campaign from their side meant they wouldn't be able to carve anything out of the Brotherhood once the conflict was over. However the attack against Madison was successful, at least. However, in spite of the forces of the Mutants surrounded in Marquette, the BROtherhood would choose another course of action.

lpddfosupremacy008.jpg

An attempt to crush the Mutant Army for once and all, eliminating a sizable part of the forces attacking them, leading to a battle that would alone decide the future of this war, perhaps. The Supermutants were outnumbered at nearly 2:1, and even having to face the best Paladins in power armor, but this was their land, and they would fight fiercely to not lose everything they had.

lpddfosupremacy009.jpg

After a long and heroic defense, the Mutants secured their delusion of sovereignty for a few more years. The Brotherhood was halted, but it was only a matter of time before a large part of the Mutant armies were crushed in Marquette.

lpddfosupremacy010.jpg

Meanwhile, Necropolis enters in a war against Kurtz Camp, which surprisingly have managed to stop the original Brotherhood of Steel and bring their attempt to put them down to a halt for years. How the hell is such a so limited force of insane ghouls capable of standing against one of the most technologically advanced forces in the Wastes?

lpddfosupremacy011.jpg

While the army continues to expand, realizing that their situation is dire, the Brotherhood sues for peace. Of course, that is not how you do rat diplomacy and thus it is soundly refused. Also, finally most of the Under-Nation armies that crushed Vault City arrive to reinforce everybody, and thus they waited to regain organization until the time was ripe for pushing the Brotherhood of Diversity.

lpddfosupremacy012.jpg

And thus, first they advanced to the south, and now, having enough numbers to not be driven back again, they attack Cape Girardeau. The Brotherhood stood little chance of holding their ground here, in spite of the winter. The rodent overlords have raised a two numerically strong army by securing some of the most populated areas of post-ITZ Kwanzania, and now they were going to deploy all of it.

And as predicted, this battle was won. But it wouldn't be the most important battle.

lpddfosupremacy013.jpg

hurr-durr-derp-face-hollywoods-top-modurrrrrrrr.jpg

Widespread electricity, a commodity long lost after ITZ, was about to return for the glory of the Hivemind. The Founder considered cautiously the mentions of a tool of mind control and edmajification known as Televitz, that could be used as a powerful instrument to keep kwa' dumb and docile as kwa' being kwa' while watching reality shows and other shitty rehashed stuff from the past for cattle like their kind.

lpddfosupremacy014.jpg

Cape Girardeau is secured while more forces that took a little longer to be strategically redeployed advance to the recently conquered province to stay there while the others were to advance even further, once they reorganize.

With Madison secured as well, time was ripe for marching towards one Road that would settle this war for once and all: the Road to Chicago.

lpddfosupremacy015.jpg

And thus the attack began against Peoria, from where the heart of the BROtherhood, Chicago, could be attacked, and yet the enemy seemingly gave not much priority to it.

lpddfosupremacy016.jpg

And this is one mistake they'll pay dearly for. By focusing too much on crushing the mutant forces stranded in Marquette they have forsaken the importance of defending their own ground, and now soon the legions of the Under-Nation shall achieve something that will ensure their unquestionable supremacy over the wastelands. Defeating the Brotherhood of Steel would mean much. It would mean that they are unstopabble, that nothing else would ever stand a chance of defeating them after this war.

lpddfosupremacy018.jpg

Finally realizing their mistake, the Brotherhood of Diversity launched a major counter-offensive to retake Peoria, but their positions were vulnerable to flanking attacks, and thus their fate was almost sealed, for if these lines fall, their defeat would be certain for in Peoria and Chicago lie most of their industry and infrastructure.

lpddfosupremacy019.jpg

Thus massed offensives were launched against Milwaukee and Decatur, with both being not so strongly defended, and victory was thus close for them. Their loss would mean the Ultimate doom for the Brotherhood, and the rodents thus were very eager to see the results of these battles unfold.

lpddfosupremacy020.jpg

The offensive against Peoria was broken, and thus the most important victory was achieved, but the other battles were still going on. Also, with enough forces to the west, the offensive against what is left of the Huns, interrupted since Vault City declared war against the Under-Nation, followed by the Mutants dragging the Hivemind in a war against the Brotherhood, would start again.

lpddfosupremacy021.jpg

The remnants of these bandits forces were lacking in morale and courage, and the fact they were outnumbered multiplied their cowardice tenfold. This was a much easier battle in spite of the winter compared to what was happening in the Eastern Front, where six Mutant Army brigades were slaughtered as they fought to the last in Marquette, and at great cost the Under-Nation pushed the Brotherhood of Steel.

lpddfosupremacy022.jpg

Thus they were driven back, while Chicago could be soon encroached, in case the battles being currently fought in that other front ended victorious.

lpddfosupremacy023.jpg

nick+griffin+%3D+nazi+rat+-+email.jpg

And thus the Brotherhood of Steel was in a very tight situation as they lost Milwaukee and Decatur. Chicago could fall at any moment, but the Founder has chosen to surround completely the ruins of the city before attacking it. The demise of the Brotherhood of Diversity, to which the Multikult of accepting Ghouls and Supermutants along their ranks is responsible in a big part, is nigh!

Are you sure we are truly mutated rats, o Founder? Judging from the supposed use of the Televitz and using the Multikult against our foes, could it be that we are... FEV-enhanced Jews?

Ohhh, that was too easy!

Lets say that unlike vanilla, most of the IC, resources and manpower of non-core provinces are taken here. Thus once a point is reached the game will become a pushover. But I have means to rectify such a problem and make things more interesting that fortunately won't require any editing of save games this time.

Diversity bringing ITZ to the Brotherhood

lpddfosupremacy024.jpg

falloutnewcaliforniarep.jpg

The research for equipping the armies of the Under-Nation so they at least resemble the late 20th century forces in quality is concluded, and now they will become far more effective than they were before with properly manufactured guns and heavier crew serviced weapons, coupled with real body armor and NBC equipment.

lpddfosupremacy025.jpg

Meanwhile, the refurbishing of the materials captured from the nuclear reactor is finished, but the current technology of the glorious Hivemind is insufficient to reassemble all those parts and build a nuclear reactor of their own again. The Founder wondered why not just leave the reactor in Gecko in the first place, but he couldn't really stop the rats from scavenging it by sending countless manboons to horrible deaths by radiation.

lpddfosupremacy026.jpg

The forces arriving at Decaturd held their ground in spite of being mostly exhausted. ITZ near for the BROtherhood. Soon Chicago shall fall, and then there will be only one Brotherhood left, the real Brotherhood of Steel that didn't dig their own grave by accepting mutant filth along their ranks.

:incline:

lpddfosupremacy027.jpg

And attack was thus launched against Indianapolis, with the goal of completely surrounding the city of Chicago. Victory can no longer be questioned here. It is a certainty.

lpddfosupremacy028.jpg

Better for the manboon to survive to fight for the glory of the Hivemind another day than for him to be left for dead. Cross-eyes, with his mastery of all medical and genetic affaris, begin to organize a systems for combat medics with the goal of making their mighty army even more capable strategically rather than out of pity. It is just not an intelligent idea to leave the soldiers dying just for the sake of being evil, and the rats are not evil. The concepts of good and evil are foreign to them, they just don't give a fuck.

lpddfosupremacy029.jpg

Unfortunately, because of how long it was taking to reach Edmonton, the offensive against the Huns fails. Another attempt shall happen, but it is widely known this will be a difficult point to advance through because of the involved distances favoring defenders rather than attackers.

lpddfosupremacy030.jpg

They have failed to hold Indianapolis but now it no longer mattered. Chicago was still surrounded right now. The time was ripe for a final, crushing blow against the BROtherhood. Meanwhile they tried to push through Cape Girardeau again but failed.

lpddfosupremacy031.jpg

The six soldiers in Cape Girardeau stood no chance. Most committed suicide to escape from the coming horrors, and a bleak vision of ITZ permeated the remnants of Chicago. Even the raiders thrown into death camps of the BROtherhood were expecting an even worse fate from the new rodent overlords.

lpddfosupremacy032.jpg

And thus the BROtherhood, thanks to its embrace of Multikult, was now virtually defeated, with their remaining industrial infrastructure insufficient to supply their remaining army, leading to constant supply shortages. All left to do was to mop up them.

lpddfosupremacy033.jpg

Green Bay and Marquette would be no battles, but slaughters as the Brotherhood forces pocketed there were starving and without any supplies, and thus the lucky ones died or killed themselves while there was time. The unlucky ones would become fresh new slaves for the Under-Nation, a fate certainly worse than death.

lpddfosupremacy034.jpg

The final moves to formally crush the Brotherhood of Diversity begin, and the time of ITZ for them approaches. The victories are plenty and this campaign success shall mark the ascension of the Hivemind as a power nobody else would be able to stop. The Founder's world domination plans were working perfectly.

lpddfosupremacy035.jpg

Almost perfectly.

lpddfosupremacy036.jpg

The enemy now was soon to meet their ultimate defeat in the hands of rats.

lpddfosupremacy037.jpg

More of them were lost, when it was once again remembered that another power in the wastelands was also expanding: the God Republic of Texas has nearly managed to annex Caesar's Legion and put them to the sword of godly judgment along the Christfags.

lpddfosupremacy038.jpg

The best Brotherhood forces were pocketed and encircled, as the Rattzkrieg succeeded against them. Their history was over after many decades of struggle. They fought against raiders, furries, Supermutants and even a robot army of Doom, but in the end, the proud and mighty BROtherhood of Steel would be toppled by a bunch of rats, and by the very Multikulturalism they embraced causing the steady decline of their society.

lpddfosupremacy040.jpg

Research for being able to possess better electronic devices begins, while the slaver society of the Under-Nation is further refined in its capability of bleeding out the manboons from everything they have. A research that includes of course the use of Televitz to tame the slaves and make them dumb and docile like

:patriot:

lpddfosupremacy041.jpg

Columbus was the before last battle to ITZ. Perhaps fitting would be where the Ultimate DOOM Expansion Set of the Brotherhood would happen. With few defenders, Columbus thus fell.

lpddfosupremacy042.jpg

More drivel about this Chosen One. Indifferent and cynical to such misery, and in truth annoyed by the cries, by seeing the manboons just like the manboons see rats, the Founder squeaks as hundreds of rats encroach the whining woman and eat her alive. He then comes out with his cynical comments, remarking on how now she would be forever next to him.

lpddfosupremacy043.jpg

And thus, in June of 2250, the Ultimate DOOM Expansion set for the Brotherhood of Diversity happens exactly at Cleveland, where the Vault-OS project was being researched. Cleveland is where they find ITZ, and although they fought bravely for many hourse, once their supplies were running out and it became clear ITZ over, a mass suicide happened as most choose to not let them find them alive.

lpddfosupremacy044.jpg

And thus, after their glorious last stand, everything was over.

lpddfosupremacy045.jpg

And with nearly half of Kwanzania under their control, the Under-Nation has reached its supremacy over the Wastelands, and nothing else could stop them. The Brotherhood of Diversity is no more, and new borders were made.

New Arroyo, Redding and Necropolis were new neighbors to the west, while to the north, the mysterious God-Machine continued to build a stronger and stronger army that mysteriously was just marching so far, but that could change soon. To the north the Royal Canadian Commonwealth, a potential new victim of their expansion, and to the east they now shared a border with the tiny criminal gang known as the Junkers and with the crumbling Caesar's Legion in face of continued God Republic of Texas aggression.

Rats are clearly in denial over their evilness, considering they just ate a woman alive just because she annoyed their Dear Leader.

Things will change a lot soon. Let's say that, having reached the point where you can win with your eyes closed, just showing further map painting to the end of this LP would be a bit dull, which is why, something is going to change later, but not right now. The only thing going to change now is the momentum that is going to increase.

skaven-army.jpg

Hell March 2

Pax Rattus, Part 1: Domination of the East Coast.

lpddfopaxrattus001.jpg

Even more of the Kwanzania now belongs to the rats as the plans of world domination carry on. The entirety of Missouri, which is full of stone masons, has fallen. But rumors come about something, something big and secretive among the masonry. The Founder cares not, unbelieving the manboons would pull such a feat of hiding that he doesn't even know that he doesn't know.

With all options around, the fact the majority of the Under-Nation forces already were in place for it coupled with the fact they were losing the war against the God republic of kingcomrade were very important for the decision to be made, just as the Brotherhood of Diversity fell.

lpddfopaxrattus002.jpg

The Rattzkrieg would be remembered as swift and brutal. No battles were ever won by the enemy. They never stood any chance. They were just shoved aside by the might of the rodent armies, inheriting the same kind of tactical, operational and strategic approaches the Germans tried to rule the world, despite their lack of armored vehicles.

lpddfopaxrattus003.jpg

As the unstoppable tide of the Rattemacht crushed Caesar's Legion thugs, news of further benefit for the Founder's ultimate goal arrive: The God Republic of Texas is split apart by a religious schism, risking to lead to a complete civil war within their territory. Divide and conquer, even though it was not intentional, it was a good event in favor of the Under-Nation.

lpddfopaxrattus004.jpg

A gigantic pile of Dragon Age 4 DVDs were found a long time ago. Nobody knew what the fuck to do with them, when someone came with a brilliant idea of using THE NEW SHIT as a source of electric power. And thus the first Methane Powerplants of the Wastelands would be researched and built.

lpddfopaxrattus005.jpg

As both Caesar's Legion and their allies, the Junkers, were on the verge of subjugation, news arrive on how some strange tribes from the far south are trying to invade Mexico as illegal aliens. The Founder just uses the paper where the report was written as toilet paper considering how much he cares about it.

Most battles have been easy, trivial, the enemy always outmatched, always defeated, until came the time to end with the Junkers.

lpddfopaxrattus006.jpg

The Battle of Pittsburg would be remembered in the History of the Under-Nation. A brutal urban battle involving a very large amount of soldiers for wasteland standards. In fact, the largest battle ever fought in the Wastelands, hundreds of thousands in a long engagement that lasted for days of street fighting, inch-by-inch. The rats had superior equipment and tactics, and this would prove to be the decisive factor in their ensuring victory, but not without cost.

lpddfopaxrattus007.jpg

And thus, the Junkers have fallen, and Caesar's Legion will shortly fall as well. For unlike the Junkers, they never managed to put up a fight, being as inept as the Huns that would eventually have their end in the far northwest. The Glorious Hivemind would never stop expanding, never.

lpddfopaxrattus008.jpg

And to further enhance their might, their tactics are even further refined. The Wasteland forces are mostly unprepared for their blitzkrieg-like approach, and their domination of Central and North Kwanzanias is now just a matter of time. There is no way they could lose now.

lpddfopaxrattus009.jpg

Loyalty to Dear and Great Leader will be considered the most important virtue of the New World Order. Humanity's era in Earth will be gone. The world as mankind knew it, even after the War, will be gone.

lpddfopaxrattus010.jpg

With the Fall of Caesar's Legion, the Founder analyzed the situation of the rest of the East Coast. The Dark Cathedral was one of the few trading partners to the Hivemind, and they had similar views about the world, in spite of being ruled by manboons. They could be eventually manipulated to become a cult of worship to the rats, allowing them to focus their advance to other targets.

lpddfopaxrattus011.jpg

And thus, with shrewd diplomacy skills, the rat known as the Founder would add a new force to their unholy alliance. The most feared foes of the Wastelands were now united in their inhuman and vile goals. The victory, once a doubt, was now a certainty, and meanwhile, things were going bad for the God Republic of Texas.

lpddfopaxrattus012.jpg

Some rats and manboons are sent to look for gold in the ruins of Fort Knox. Hopefully they will find some. Nothing like gold, and the heads of rebellious rats rolling again.

lpddfopaxrattus013.jpg

whack_a_mole.jpg

With Tenessee conquered, it is discovered that a not so smart as the rats group of Moles were also trying too hard for world domination. And thus, considering how many of these sort of smart moles existed, the Founder had a genial idea to further make the Manboons as sheeple: he reinvented POPAMOLE. And with POPAMOLE, which would feature more and more hand-holding and dumbing down, the manboons would forever derp and herp and hurr and durr accepting their fate as slaves because they would grow dumber and dumber until their intelligence became the same of a chimp. Basically they would devolve into dumb beasts(something that was already happening before the war) with the support of POPAMOLE while the rats evolved in intelligence.

And the rust belt is also belong to rats. Glorious!

lpddfopaxrattus014.jpg

In the beginning of 2251, as Reformed Texas took half of the God Republic of Texas territories, the Under-Nation saw the perfect opportunity to wipe the Kwanzanian east coast of any threats to their world domination plans, having only allies and their own territory within once their rampage is over.

Of all advances, only Birmingham failed. This would probably be another textbook Rattzkrieg.

lpddfopaxrattus015.jpg

It took only three months for the entirety of Texas to fall, and then, as the Founder wisely perceived that indirect means of manipulating and making manboons do his bidding rather than brute force, fear and torture were far more effective and wouldn't lead the manboons to a suicidal drive, he loosened the leash a bit too much according to the more feral and conservative rats, and one of the manboons dared to openly demand more liberties for the manboons. The Founder, in spite of many protests from other rats, oblivious to the greater picture, accepted.

But although the protester demands were attended, he still ended vanishing. It was to make clear the Founder just did this because it was part of his greater plans to stabilize the Under-Nation. The rats who treated the protester's intestines as a maze to toy with would know well what happens to those who dare to bitch thinking they are better than the Founder, specially manboons.

lpddfopaxrattus016.jpg

Strangely, as the capital of Texas was under occupation of Reformed Texas, it was not possible to formally annex the God Republic of Texas after all, but with them crushed, why stop the momentum? And thus both Texas theocracies would be subjugated.

lpddfopaxrattus017.jpg

Finally they did this formality for the Under-Nation. Soon it would be their time, and once again the war was a breeze, the enemy seemingly totally unable of having a chance of winning, no matter how bravely they fought.

lpddfopaxrattus018.jpg

The economy and management of the Under-Nation is further optimized with researches in agriculture, more power sources and a proper system for collecting taxes from the other rats. And soon Solar Power would become operational as well. On less impressive news, Finally the forces to the west were breaking through the remnants of the Huns.

lpddfopaxrattus019.jpg

Just as they were about to be crushed by the still surviving government of Mexico, the Mexican Raiders decided to declare war against someone they no longer shared a border with, being opportunistic and dumb as one could expect mexican raiders to be. Their fall was nigh. Meanwhile, Vancouver was won from the Huns, and all they had left now, which would also soon fall, was Vancouver Island. The Under-Nation forces were either large or daring enough to advance through multiple fronts and wars. Soon a new one would being by some forces that were waiting for the snow to melt in the north.

lpddfopaxrattus020.jpg

The Rats shall rule Canada!

lpddfopaxrattus021.jpg

But where did the gold of Fort Knox end? Nobody knows.

Things have changed a lot since 2245. The Under-Nation has reached a time in its history known as Pax Rattus. Nobody was a threat to them anymore. They could just go conquering everything at any order they wish to. Humanity was about to meet their Rearmageddon. Near the entirety of the North Amerikwan East Coast, except for Canada, which was being invaded, was controlled by the Rats or their manipulated allies through rat diplomacy.

Mankind seemingly stood no more chance.

How on earth did the Huns manage to take Vancouver before New Arroyo?

Also, is it actually possible to find gold in Fort Knox, or anything at all?

Btw, the other doctrines have a ridiculously good benefit over the Pre-War Military doctrine: That event that raises the skill of one of your generals, and allows you to research Pre-War Military doctrines IN ADDITION to your old doctrine. Sure, it requires armored units, but goddamn! My Mutants had over 200 organization!

I dunno. They just did it. Probably too many Marauders for Arroyo to handle.

As for Fort Knox I have no idea. But I believe it should lead to some different result at times, otherwise what would be the point of the event?

The game is going easy enough as it is already. No point to make it even easier with an unbalanced feature of the mod.

Pax Rattus Part 2: Ultimate DOOM Expansion Set for Canada

lpddfopaxrattus022.jpg

Cross-eyes begins to further improve the medical technology within the Under-Nation. At this level of continuous developments, maybe it won't be long before rats become able to live as long as the manboons, which will be a major achievement, specially for the Founder who is getting old already for the natural lifespan of the rats, which wasn't really much extended by the FEV.

lpddfopaxrattus023.jpg

Just as Texas Reformed was about to be subjugated, news came on how there is a strange, mysterious group operating within the territory of the Under-Nation, and manboons that were not as Kwa as the Kwa being Kwa were vanishing, allegedly being freed by this group and recruited by it. Strangely this network of secret operations seemed to be stretching all accross Kwanzanian, "recruiting" talented people for purposes that right now were unknown.

lpddfopaxrattus024.jpg

Vancouver Island has fallen, and thus the Huns were finally put in their place. Now there was a border with the Enclave, and they had too many forces defending it to be driven back and defeated for now, but soon more soldiers and a HQ would come there to hopefully gather enough numbers to destroy the Enclave.

lpddfopaxrattus025.jpg

Just as most of Canada has fallen, for the first time in History, the Under-Nation has gotten a NAVY! A glorious bunch of trawlers captured in what is left of the Harbor in Quebec! Beware because with these trawlers they shall rule the world!

Also, the Founder loved the irony of having a flotilla named "Freedom", and decided to not rename it.

lpddfopaxrattus026.jpg

Texas has fallen, at last! The Under-Nation was one step closer to world domination. Nobody else truly stood a chance. They would win! They would crush everyone and everything ruled by manboons! Where is your God now, God Republic of Texas?

lpddfopaxrattus027.jpg

The policy of loosening the leash has brought undesirable consequences. The Founder, to avoid many problems, simply ensured the leaders of the agitation would be put to death camps, and things were getting problematic. Many rats questioned the capability of the Founder being a ruler, or even accused him of being too soft with the manboons to the point he was slowly caring more about them than about his own kind. How dare them to speak such of the rat that ensured their undisputed Hegemony over Kwanzania? The Rat that turned their backwards would-be empire into a superpower? More heads roll because of this, for the Founder has no tolerance or mercy for those who plot to overthrow him.

lpddfopaxrattus028.jpg

Montana is the best of all Kwanzania. Why? But whichever the reason, it now also belongs to the rats. And countering all opposition, the Founder loosens even further the leash of the manboons. He hopes that eventually, eventually, all rats will realize that to manipulate manboons indirectly is a much more stable and effective form of rule than what they are currently doing, and manboons are very easy to manipulate through other means than violence.

lpddfopaxrattus029.jpg

Just as the Ultimate DOOM Expansion Set for Canada was about to be concluded, news came about how the government of Mexico wiped out the Mexican Raiders, and the criminal part of the men lost one of their allies. With this Mexico has grown too strong. Industrially as strong as the Enclave, if not more, for example. It is a potential next target. But first the forces that subjugated Texas will deal with New Orleans and her strange Vodoo gang.

lpddfopaxrattus030.jpg

It was a tough battle, but the poor equipment and training of the so called Harlequins ensured their rapid doom.

lpddfopaxrattus031.jpg

Meanwhile, the NCR decides that the best way to counter the threat posed by the glorious Hivemind is to expand violently on their own, and begins a campaign to destroy the raiders known as the Vipers, for their bizarre snake-worship cult, and seize their territory. Of course, they might be up for a surprise.

lpddfopaxrattus032.jpg

Not much time later, it seems that the Mexican government, seeing both NCR and the Under-Nation as threats to their interests, had the same idea too, of seizing the territory of the Vipers.

lpddfopaxrattus033.jpg

One more into the fold, and now it is shown how, throughout the years, the Under-Nation government has been fully optimized for war and conquest. Now, what else was left to be changed? Difficult to tell. But the Founder was having a genial idea, but like all his mastermind plans, it would meet serious opposition. However, once applied, it would secure their society, and make purchases of more and more slaves unnecessary.

lpddfopaxrattus034.jpg

The Enclave will truly be a tough nut to crack. Thus for now there is not much to do about them.

lpddfopaxrattus035.jpg

Most of the Kwanzania now belongs to the Founder. A hunt for aligators starts in celebration, with manboons used as bait, of course.

Meanwhile, the invasion of the Vipers by both Mexico and NCR opens a new opportunity: the opportunity of being faster than both in defeating the Vipers. Regardless of them being one of the few factions in the Wastes willing to trade with the Under-Nation, their utility is over as an independent region.

lpddfopaxrattus036.jpg

And thus once again, the unstoppable Rattzkrieg begins. So unstoppable that even in situations where the enemy forces are even or even slightly outnumbering the attackers, they still lost it, like in the glorious battle of Midland.

lpddfopaxrattus037.jpg

And quickly the Under-Nation succeeded where both NCR and Mexico has only failed with poorly executed campaigns of conquest. One more into the fold soon.

lpddfopaxrattus038.jpg

It goes down faster than even Canada, which was about to fall too as the year of 2251 was ending. And thus, the states of Arkansas and kingcomrade, I mean Texas, were finally also part of the Under-Nation, which controlled now the sheer majority of Kwanzania.

lpddfopaxrattus040.jpg

Along the menial putting down of slave rebellions, a rat finds several lost files that boost research in their improvement of warfare.

lpddfopaxrattus041.jpg

As now most of Canada and Kwanzania fell to the might of the Under-Nation, they turned their eyes to the South. Soon Mexico would also fall, and then those strange Darrien Tribes they heard of. And after that, there wouldn't be much left to conquer.

Only a miracle could save mankind now, everything was going exactly as dreamed by the Founder.

The Wastelands would soon belong only to one power, the power of Rat Diplomacy!

Wait for it man, I know what's coming bro :smug:

Anyway, I'm surprised you're still a Fundamentalist Oligarchy, seeing how high you are towards Freedom. I guess the Humanist slider really matters a lot in this (a good thing really).

I'd have expected you to have the terrain doctrines already, since they're great to have. Really makes moving around and fighting easier.

A Report to the Elders and BROS for the first meeting of 2253: Part 1

250px-Paladin.jpg

"Good evening, Brothers and Elders, as Paladin Vaarna, I am here today to present you a very important matter, the matter of a threat which has grown exponentially in the last eight years, and that now is much greater than the threats the Master and the Enclave once posed to our Brotherhood."

lpddfobosreport001.jpg

"And so trolls trolling trolls ensued..." - Unknown

The commotion raised quickly as the first slides were placed into the old projector along the meeting hall. Paladins and Scribes muttered and spoke, until they respectfully stopped as one of the elders requested silence so that the matter could be further explained.

"This threat is something called the Under-Nation. In 2245, it was simply a minor, backwards and strange community in Rock Springs we didn't even know that exist, but since then, through a near perpetual state of war, they have grown, and now, their borders lie just to the east of our recently acquired Las Vegas from those insane and rotten scavengers and not too far of Lost Hills bunker too. A few years ago we thought they were simply a gang of slavers with a strategical genius along them, against all odds, but now we know that the Under-Nation is ruled by sentient rats created by contact with FEV, who obviously have the complete conquest of the known world as their ultimate goal, and who are allegedly gifted with psychic capabilities that allow them to possess and control the minds of other beings, and to merge their consciousness into a single Hivemind.

lpddfobosreport002.jpg

"I saw a mutant lobster yesterday. Horrible creatures, I avoid them whenever I can" - Unknown Vault Dweller.

I believe that it is unnecessary to demonstrate the entire history of violence and disrespect for sovereignty these creatures are marked with, thus I will concetrate on the events of last year. You might already know that most of the United States of America and of Canada is already under their control, and as you certainly already know, the splinter group who has forsaken the tenets of the true Brotherhood to found their own, false Broterhood of Steel, already perished to this threat."

lpddfobosreport003.jpg

Some swear words, fits of rage and comments about a "decline" echoed for a few seconds as the Paladin mentioned the other Brotherhood of Steel, and when things calmed down, he then continued:

"Not that this matter should overshadow other matters like the mysterious vanishing of some of our members through the actions of an Intelligence network we still haven't cracked down, or those who have begun to worship a so called Chosen One against the better interests of the Brotherhood. Of course, the Elders already decided to let this pass, for now, for we believe it will pass, for although he certainly helped much the Brotherhood of Steel against the Enclave, and even gave us the plans for the Vertibird, he should be respected, not worshipped. But, back to the matter at hand..."

lpddfobosreport004.jpg

"Ahem... yes, the mystery over why that ghoul named Kurtz was never found, allowing us to formally consider Las Vegas part of the Brotherhood of Steel, is a curiousity, but we will address whether or not start a new ghoul hunt for him in another meeting."

lpddfobosreport005.jpg

"Scribe Andhaira! This is not the slide I requested! But..." the Paladin tried to improvise, "It is a convenient mishap, for we all know how things went when the NCR began to push their weight against us, and attempted to seize one of the outposts to loot our rightful knowledge and technology for themselves. I know it was a recent and sad moment in our history, but in the end we might not have won, but neither did them. Had we preemptively prepared for this, and attacked first, we would have much greater chances of victory. And this Under-Nation, its forces might match size of pre-war armies according to the few holodisks about it, which should be another information to be analyzed for the final decision on this."

lpddfobosreport006.jpg

"The first half of the last year was an eventful one. In fact, since the Under-Nation was born, there is no single day in the history of the Wastelands when major wars weren't waged. It is obvious that such a ferocity implies a ruler which will not be satisfied until all of the world falls under his control.

Not even our old enemies, who have been licking their wounds in Alaska since the death of their so called "President of the United States" and the loss of their Poseidon Oil Rig, the Enclave, have managed to stop the sheer numbers of this enemy, combined with their allies, the remnants of the Master's Army and a strange cult in the East Coast known as the Dark Cathedral. Although it is obvious they will eventually backstab their "allies", I find it unlikely we could convince them of it, or that they could be reasoned with in the first place."

lpddfobosreport007.jpg

"Yes, I know some of you have launched the counter-argument: 'if they have established a border with our territories in Las Vegas since May of last year, after they crushed Broken Hills, why are they waiting to launch their invasion? The truth is: they simply have chosen, probably for strategic reasons, to leave us for later, maybe believing their sheer number of broken shells of human beings would easily break the resolve of our superior and better-equipped warriors. And this arrogance of theirs might be our chance. And yes, I mentioned already, Scribe Andhaira," he gazed angrily at the inanity, "that a policy of appeasement or a diplomatic approach won't ever work with rats. Because despite sentient, they are still rats, and you all know how to deal with rats:

Exterminatus2.png

lpddfobosreport008.jpg

Paladin Vaarna sighed, and tried to contain his rage as another wrong slide was thrown:

"Scribe Andhaira! This is..." he calmed down, "a strange event for another meeting, now, in regards to the matter of hand."

lpddfobosreport009.jpg

"We should also not underestimate the creatures, wretched as they are. They are smart. They might be even more intelligent than human beings on average because of the highly darwinist nature of their society, as we could ascertain. They have no mercy even among themselves. I am afraid that with enough time, these rats could develop technology that might become equal or even rival our own, but for the moment they haven't, fortunately. Thus we need to act quickly, while we still maintain the advantage of technology to hopefully compensate for their overwhelmingly numberful forces. And we must also seek to rethink our army into one that maximize the combat capabilities of every individual against numerically superior foes."

lpddfobosreport010.jpg

"Broken Hills would only be one of many victims. Mexico was also collapsing, slowly but certainly. The Under-Nation has the resources of nearly an entire continent right now, and that, brothers, is why we must act."

lpddfobosreport011.jpg

"Because if we just wait, they won't, they will attack us sooner or later..."

lpddfobosreport013.jpg

"...regardless of whether or not we can use our limited intelligence assets to divert part of their resources to wild goose chases. And this, is for now, all I have to say. Rest and ponder wisely and thoughtfully about these facts during the fifteen-minute break. We will meet again soon, as I will end this analysis of the threat posed by the Under-Nation to the Brotherhood, and suggest a course of action to the Elders in regards to it."

And thus, the Paladin interrupted his speech, well aware that upon it hanged the future of the Brotherhood of Steel, if not the future of the human race on Earth.

--

I know the BoS wasn't the second most voted option, but I hate the Enclave and its presence as a significant power after the events of Fallout 2, specially with ending slide claiming the President of US is just a title to scare children and that the Enclave was wiped out in Poseidon Oil Rig, is very, very arguable.

So yes I'm picking them because they are the most faithful faction in this mod to the true Fallout Canon.

So you're switching to the BROhood? Considering the overwhelming superiority in economic and military potential of the Hivemind, it seems impossible to win with them at that point, unless you forge an alliance with all other countries.

They don't have tripods. And deprived of the intelligence of a real person to be controlled by the already well-known as inept AI of HoI2, it won't be as fearsome as it has been so far.

A Report to the Elders and BROS for the first meeting of 2253: Part 2

lpddfobosreport014.jpg

"Now, brothers, we return to the presentation of the matter at hand. Just one moment, if you may."

lpddfobosreport015.jpg

"Yes, the matter of someone having managed to control a pre-war satellite is worrissome, but even if all these rumors about the Chosen One prove true, they would actually work in our favor rather than against us. It would be a welcome happening for something new to face these rats I have been speaking about in our aid, once the time comes."

lpddfobosreport016.jpg

"In September of last year, Necropolis also fell. Although we would consider this to be good news in other circumstances, no matter how we disliked Necropolis, they were no threat to our existence. Can't you see that this Under-Nation will only stop once everything is on their hands? We must act quickly if we are to stand a chance of survival, but allow me to presence further evidence that now the time for direct intervention in the matters of the Wastelands has come.

lpddfobosreport017.jpg

"About one month after Necropolis, the New Republic of Mexico fell. The Under-Nation is carving and expanding nonstop since their birth. They won't ever, ever be satisfied, and I believe it is not necessary to explain what they do to all humans who happen to be subjugated by them. But that was not everything they would do. In their growing lust for power, they are close to deliver a crushing blow against the Enclave right now, and also against other civilizations in the Wastelands.

lpddfobosreport018.jpg

MULTIHEADED DICKS HITTING ASS AND LEGS OH GOD ITS HEAVAN!

lpddfobosreport019.jpg

"Let the fall of the Robot Nation serve as an example on how technological superiority alone will mean nothing. This will require tactical and strategic excellence above all. We must strike swiftly and decisively against the Under-Nation if we are to stand a chance of victory and continued survival in the future. However, first comes the matter of our other neighbors, and unfortunately, this EXTREME situation shall require EXTREME measures."

lpddfobosreport020.jpg

IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO TOTALLY AVOID GRATUITOUS SEX IN X-FILES

lpddfobosreport021.jpg

I never tried Kwanzanian beer, therefore I can't confirm this.

But I would think it is most likely true.

trollface1.jpg

lpddfobosreport023.jpg

"The Under-Nation is very, very close from their goal of total domination, many other civilizations lie on the verge of defeat right now, and I don't think we alone could stand a chance against them, at least not in our current state of affairs."

lpddfobosreport024.jpg

"For our intelligence reports about the total of forces under their control, including expeditionary forces from the Dark Cathedral and from the Mutant Army, is frightening. Like I have mentioned before, their numbers currently equal those of major pre-war armies. An immediate action is necessary to stop them, and EXTREME measures must be taken to ensure our future."

lpddfobosreport022.jpg

"Even as we speak, both New Arroyo and the Enclave lie on the verge of defeat. In face of the titanic threat posed by the Under-Nation, it has come a time for a harsh choice: we must ensure that all remaining factions in the Wastelands of human beings fight on our side."

"Excuse me, Paladin Vaarna, but what if, in spite of this looming threat, they refuse to ally with us?"

"Then we will have no choice but to force them to through war. This is the only way, brothers. We must do this now, or the Brotherhood of Steel shall die. Thank you."

And then, the usual debates sparkled. They stood for hours of DISCUSS!!!, until a consensus has been reached among the Elders. For the first time in the history of the Brotherhood of Steel, the Elders have ruled in favor of a major intervention in the affairs of the Wastelands, and soon they would emerge from their shelter of isolationism and face all threats and obstacles that may exist to their survival. Although now they shared an equally interventionist stance with the now defunct Brotherhood of Diversity, in spite of the threat, they refused to allow outsiders in their ranks, confident that they would achieve victory through superiority in race rather than in diversity in large numbers.
