I think I just need more in a gaem than combat to keep me entertained. What does that make me?
Have you tried adventure games? All story, no combat!Well, I didn't really "get" Fallout the first time I played it but I did enjoy it and finished it twice. I'm eager to play the second one. I liked Baldur's Gate and want to play the second one too. I even managed to complete Ultima IV once although it was somewhat painful. I have fond memories of Planescape but I hated that it wouldn't let me avoid most of the combat.

I don't have a problem with combat and I enjoy it when it's challenging, tactical and has lots of options.

I don't think a vast majority of cRPG's will be to your liking. I think Strategy games would be the type of games you would prefer more.
What? most strategy games have story driven single player campaigns. What does that make me?

That doesn't make sense. I just explained that I get bored with games that are all combat and no story. Same with games that are all story and no combat. So CRPGs are right up my alley, and MM1 is obviously not a CRPG but glorified chess.
There are only 3 mandatory combats in PST, the rest you are free to run away from.Well, I didn't really "get" Fallout the first time I played it but I did enjoy it and finished it twice. Don't listen to this guy or allow yourself to be labelled as anything other than an rpg fan.A storyfag. You'd probably enjoy bioware's games more than any blobbers.

Which thread was this growth scraped off of? I need context.
Outrun them. There are only 3 mandatory combats in PST, the rest you are free to run away from.
The jail and leading up to it has like 30 incredibly painful combat encounters. You can stealth your way in but not out iirc.
Edit: also Baator, the Fortress and Carceri. If there was a way to avoid all those trash mobs I sure missed it.
