Disclaimer: this game is so rare that it will have probably slipped under your radar.

I remember the fabled old days of Megadrive/Genesis' original Langrisser entry, when Satoshi Urushihara drew the game's designs. Now a lot of people are calling its bluff, and not even the cover art is that good. They complain that the game is basically poor at every important level.

Have you tried it, and if so, have any horror story to tell? I like SRPG above all else and even though I hear this is terrible, I so want it to be good.

It's been sitting on my Amazon recommendations for ages, but I never saw any material online that would draw me to the game begin with.

I haven't played any of the previous incarnations, so I don't have that to draw upon.
