No great loss of a franchise there IMHO.

I tried to finish KOTOR II some weeks ago since I never played that game when it came out and found it for cheap. It had potential but just seemed shallow and forced overall. The moral ambiguity of the dark/light dictomy that creeps up through Kreia's narrative/comments are never played out in any real fashion other than the typical good guy/bad guy syndrome. It's a shame since the the dialouge promises the player some real moral choice and Kreia's comments on the dark/light divide are well crafted.

On topic KOTOR III will probably go down the route of almost all MMORPGS out there: generic grind-fests without enough content to satisfy even the bare minimum RPG standards. Oh, and everyone can be a jedi too! Let's give it up for the nezt Star Wars MMORPG to take power fantasy inflation to the next level.
