A discussion of the utmost importance, eternal through the ages yet still unresolved. Who wins? who's the better villain? who's more charismatic? Dancing Mad or One Winged Angel?

Intelligent, nihilistic, and with a wicked sense of humor.

Final-Fantasy.jpg

Single-handedly created the emo scene and remains the most influential inspiration for online usernames

Well, RPGfan bros, what do we think?

Is this a serious question?

Besides Kefka having better dialog, he also genocides the Esper race and destroys the world.

Sephiroth does nothing notable except kill a party member that 99% of first time players didn't even use in their team.

Dancing Mad is far superior btw.

They are both gay and retarded. Sephiroth is a bit more retarded so I cast my vote for Sophiroth.

Ex-Death was fucking painful to play against in Dissidia if the other guy knew what he was doing. So I'm voting Ex-Death. He also looks the coolest.

Sephiroth is way cooler due to the presentation of his game.

  • Cloud and friends get captured by Shinra who were set up to be the bad guys of the game... and then you realize that the jail door is unlocked, and then find the trail of blood, and find that Sephiroth swept through and killed everyone.
  • You get a flashback where Cloud gets one shotted right out of the gate by a powerful monster while Sephiroth two shots it.
  • You come across a humongous snake impaled on a stake.
  • And then when you find frozen Sephiroth, you realize you were never chasing him in the first place. He was telepathically controlling Jenova cells from half way around the world, which you were chasing.
  • And then you had his bombastic, 2 minute long solar system destroying attack.
Granted, Sephiroth (and FF7 in general) has become overexposed, so we often think about him without the context of the game he was in and we might be desensitized to its impact, but he is undeniably more memorable than Kefka. Betraying the emperor and destroying the world was pretty cool, but that's really all Kefka has going for him compared to all of things Sephiroth has going for him.

You mean:

Sephiroth kills a bunch of corporate suits.

Sephiroth fails to one shot a trash mob.

Sephiroth kills a snake.

Sephiroth is a popsicle.

Sephiroth wastes the players time with a move that is negated by a single cure spell.

always thought that dhoulmagus, most probably inspired by kefka, was one of the best villains.

Kefka becomes God Emperor and does everything every single video game boss wants to do for more than an entire year before you even have a chance to stand up to him. Even after killing him, you cannot restore the world to what it was. Most people are dead or dying because everything is in ruins. Even in death, Kefka won.

Easy choice.
