In the grand tradition of MicroProse and Jane’s Combat Simulations, ICBM puts you in the hotseat: you are USAF First Lieutenant Derek Evans, Ellsworth Air Force Base’s newest Deputy Missile Combat Crew Commander.
ICBM was inspired by the extraordinary pixel art of Denis Loubet and the incredible series of Trinity articles at The Digital Antiquarian.
I just started playing this game so I can't say much about it yet but so far it pushes all the right buttons.
*It's a Cold War ICBM Silo Operator Simulator.
*Has very Fallouty intro.
*Takes place in the 80s.
*Is very atmospheric.
*Has good sound design and a good OST.
*Unlike a lot of the pixely hipster garbage we see these days ICBM actually looks like an early 90s DOS game.
*Reminds me of Introversion's DEFCON.
Give it a try, it's free.
