Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
I haven't even started one I guess.
Except for Anachronox but that one hasn't been made in Japan and is actually good.

No wait I think I started some JRPGs once but I gave up after less than an hour because they were so tedious and uninteresting.

I can think of 3.

Chrono Trigger
FF 6 & 8

The rest aren't available on PC. So I've not much of interest to purchase a console just to give it a look. FF7 was my first JRPG ...and the one I never finished cause my Disc 3 got fucked.

... does Zelda count?
...does it ever? Zelda is one of the quintessential RPG games, even better than Fallout's lame-O combat, and rusty graphics.

I have to confess that the original one for the NES is one of my favourite games.

FF 6, 7, 8, 9
Chrono Trigger
Chrono Cross
Super Mario RPG
Secret of Mana (if it counts)
Legend of Dragoon
Pokemon Red, Yellow, Silver, Sapphire
Dragon Warrior 3 (GBA version)

And a few others that I've forgotten about. Out of all of those, the only one that I can enjoy at this point is DW3. The rest are just... bleh.

It wasn't until recently that I grew tired and slightly disgusted of the genre. And by then I was already greatly tainted.

If Zelda counts, Landstalker and Alundra should too.

Most of them in my early-mid teens, and it should be noted that I find most of them almost unplayable today. Back then I guess I enjoyed anything with a story, no matter how shitty. The exceptions would be Suikoden 1 and 2, Chrono Trigger, the Zelda games, and to some extent, Pokemon. Vagrant Story and Landstalker/Alundra are just brilliant games, no explanation needed AFAIC.

I am playing legend of dragoon on epsxe.

Nice game, same engine of Final Fantasy VII.

None.

Can't stand the treadmill gameplay, nor the boringly uncreative aesthetics, nor the copious amount of emo in their stories.

Lots. I even finished Shin Megami Tensei with the three endings just so you can see how masochistic i am.

I actually like Xenogears. Did you know you could fight gear battles without a gear? A favorite passtime.
