In 1992, Game Designers' Workshop published Gary Gygax Dangerous Journeys roleplaying game.

Electronic Arts began to develop a video game version that was never completed.

Richard Garriot (Lord British, creator of Ultima) shares that his first job at EA not having to do with Ultima was to visit Gary Gygax in regards to Dangerous Journeys "video game" version.


At 49:50 minutes into this twitch video Richard Garriot shares an interesting story about killing this proposed game.
