There was a little puzzler called Congo Cube, as well, though I'm pretty sure Tom Hall handled the design work for both that and HDB; Romero's position was lead programmer / CTO, coded the Red Faction port for N-Gage. Yeah, not exactly illustrious, but I bet it put shit in perspective after working in what was an ivory tower in both the figurative sense and by architectural philosophy.
