Finally played this. It's excellent. What looks like a dumb story about running around a haunted funfair trying to catch a kid who's always unrealistically out of reach turns into superb psychological horror once the membrane peels back. It's almost entirely linear and there's no gameplay to be had; it's more like a goddamned good horror movie. And this story actually couldn't be told effectively as a movie ... the first person format and taking it at one's own pace is what gives the story its power. This is definitely worth seeing.
