Insert Title Here Strap Yourselves In Divinity: Original Sin Project: Eternity Torment: Tides of Numenera Wasteland 2 Divinity: Original Sin 2
Plot is only important in the very end of game and the way they did NR, NV and SLC was amazing; you have four full scaled quest hubs and explanation for some obscure lore from first Fallout like how Killian could have an US soldier as father, all in all it was most post Apocalyptic of all the games showing the last death throws of an old world. As to contradiction of VC story you either end up as only living person in Vault (not counting Doc) or Enclave makes full tabula rasa to maintain Vault City as its control group so all records are tempered to obscure what your PC has done. Reaper guy is not that tough those Enclave assholes are most difficult to kill (fortunately they game doesn't force you to fight them at all).

Reaper guy is not that tough

So, is there a trick to kill him? Or do you just have to shoot? Does he regenerate more than once? I managed to kill him by knocking him out and then he didn't regenerate, but I kinda feel like that was not intended?

And another question:
Vegas again. How can you access the book in the casino in the room with that cashier chick? The one to get that dude out of prison?

Anyway, so I finished it. The amount of detail is amazing. Really good stuff, but not without faults.
I wish they skipped on stupid modern game shit like crafting and "collect x of something" quests for example.

And of course, it would benefit greatly from a better translation. Some of the stuff is :what:
Though part of that is also probably just ruskies being ruskies.

You are the tool lulz

If it is what I think it is then:

Use left-shift to highlight objects. Very useful in this mod. Activate in ddraw.ini if it isn't already.

Otherwise:

It's a fallen road sign.

If fixed the train in Salt Lake, but it says I need a destination to use it. Is this tied to the main quest somehow? If not, how to use this train?

Phew i am nearing the end.

Is it possible to beat thr soul reaper guy without min maxing or cheating?

Dude deals 20 to 30 damage per attack, attacks 4 times a turn, eliminating me in 1 or 2 turns.

I know you can sneak out with your train guy, but i am curious.

I have power armor, and plasma rifle upgraded too.

I killed most of his minion, but the reaper hinself is impossible.

how did you beat him?

Has anyone ever done the math on steal? i swear it makes no sense, i fail about as often with a 100% or a 50% on my skill, always from behind, with normal money.

Problem is there are quite a few objects to interact with that don't highlight because they are more akin to dialog triggers or objects you use skills and items on.

It is a weakness of the FO2 system.

In order to steal, from what I understand, you do the following:
1. Roll to see if you succeed with all of the modifiers (size, facing, stealth, etc.)
2. The opponent rolls against his Perception to see if he notices you stealing.

That means that regardless of how well you do 1., you are screwed by 2.

Stealing just seems to be either bugged or broken. In my personal testing, going from 40% of skill to 100% did only a marginal improvement and, furthermore, while the victim's perception should be playing a role, boozing it up didn't really improve the situation by much.

Yep. I've never tried a full sneak/steal character w/ the perks to see if they somehow worked together well, but in my experience 100% isn't enough to steal anything even semi-reliably while putting nothing at all into the skill is still enough to steal once in a while. Either way you're going to savescum for stealing since permanently pissing off entire settlements isn't worth it even if you got the chance to be detected down to 10%

There is no difference between 90 and 300 other than you get up to 210 per steal session at 90 and 0 at 300. I have a toon at level 45 or so from stealing his way through The Den, Madoc, Vault City, Broken Hills and New Reno.

so much for "lot of work" then
still gonna play it, people still send reports of technical issues, maybe next week then, pfff
I'll start that Awaken playthrough and see if they dealt with issues.

Unfortunately they've translated it from English so it's a translation of a translation (ru->en->pl).

That's bad if first translation wasn't superb... better to translate from originnal source. I can't belive they coudn't find Poles who know Russian... it's really things that bad culturally? Sad...

Not a problem when it comes to mods for STALKER and Gothic 1/2.
No idea why they went this way. Deciphering english machine translation must be really painful experience.
Working at ~3.7MB .TXT of machine translated text must be 10th Circle of Hell.
