I'm thinking of buying D3 for the sole purpose of farming and selling shit for real money. Is that still viable?
You could just go to an urban center and offer to let people kick you in the balls for a dollar. You'll make more money and have more fun.

I don't talk to them anymore.
:salute:

Only games in genre that hooked my up for long were Diablo 2 and Titan's Quest.
Diablo 1 or GTFO.

Ok, D2 can be about fun enough if you have nothing better to do and have nothing else to play with friends online, but I was so butthurt about the :decline: from D1, MMO-lite and loss of atmosphere when I bought it when it came out that I attempted to get the refund right away.
:x

About the only time when I was actually conned into buying a shitty game.

Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Insert Title Here Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Fallout 3 has atmosphere up the butt compared to D3.

Fixed :salute:
Now that's just not true. Both games have shit atmosphere.

Diablo 2 is quite gothic and varied in it's environments. The artists can't help it that the gamedesigners fucked up the tension. Just as the Bethesda artists (the conceptual ones, the only ones with some sense) can't help it that the designers fucked up the atmosphere with that terrible green filter, and level design, and game design, and lack of rpg mechanics, and story, and dialogue, and characters. . .

Maybe release D3, but the economy has crashed by now for several reasons that even a minimum wage job would be 10000000000000x more effective than trying this.

There's no way I'm gonna touch this abomination, unless they go back to the fundamentals, with skill-trees and randomized map-layout and grisly art & sound and an official apology from a humiliated Jay Wilson in every in-game Dialog option.

So that means, never.

Saw the shit cartoony graphic design, realized it would of course be dumbed down tripe, and never bought or gave a shat since.

The main draw of D1 and 2 was randomized maps. I don't see how anyone can stand running the same areas over and over with little to no variation.

The main draw of D2 wasn't randomized maps. The majority of time people spent playing that game was doing runs to kill bosses over and over.

I have little-to-no faith that the D3 expansion will make the game any fun, but I'm sure they'll at least try to turn it around. Although the game was a financial success, people are pretty sick of it now. They really need to shake things up down to the core, and an expansion is one way to do that.
