Vapourware Deep Shadows open world games

I am already playing boiling point thus far, and interested in playing Precursors afterwards. Is there a KKK on these games? One of the most memorable moments of the game is discovering that you can stealth kill people with grenades, kind of awesome. Also, lots of missions and factions, tough the only way to powergame is with trainers. Also, The Mummy villain:

I played Precursors a few years back and liked it. But there is a bug that prevents you from progression after certain point.

I played Precursors for an hour or so and saw great potential in it, but decided to wait for Wesp's patches to really play it. Not sure if he kept up with that or not. Also the DRM on it was horrible, so hopefully Wesp removes that shit.

The sequel White Gold with the Russian patch and unofficial patch is one of the best RPG/FPS games ever made.
To get the Russian patch working, you need a Russian version.

GamersGate have one and there is some torrent that I lost about year ago.

Sadly they will never do any more games, closed.

Gamersgate version that I have is the english version. I got a Russian disk from ebay.

Why is the Russian version the better one? Also, Beamdog provides the enhanced edition for both precursors and Xenus 2

To get the Russian patch working, you need a Russian version.

English versions do not have the latest patch, it is still playable.

Mostly the same. I completed it with the english version.

List of changes and fixes:
- Optimized rendering of grass with instansinga;
- Fixed some minor graphical issues;
- Fixed provaly FPS in certain areas of the game world;
- Fixed bug with empty windows installation on screen perks;
- Now more common among merchants kolimator for AK47
- Fixed the mission of stealing documents for the don Guillermo "Working under the guise of";
- Made improvements to the range of missions for the Don Guillermo and his henchmen;
- Fixed changing relations with the factions at work on the smugglers on Espada;
- Fixed the mission about a vase that has been selected by bandits from the old man, Alberto - now just a marker pointing to the place where you get to the shore;
- Fixed the mission "Beer for Russia";
- Fixed the mission "Get 10 doses of powder" - now in the description of the mission is correct number of doses;
- Fixed the mission of the shooting of Rupert;
- Improved functionality of some perks;
- Improved balance sheet items that pop out of dead enemies;
- On the sunken galleon corrected position the trunk, which was difficult to find;
- Fixed the mission Gilberto;
- Fixed the last mission for Leonardasa.
- Fixed the mission "of competing firms."
- Fixed the mission "Liberation of the smuggler."
- Fixed the mission "Eliminate Sergeant Crespo."
- Fixed the dialogue Juarez after all the missions for him and save the old Diego.
- Fixed some minor bugs Level Design.
- Fixed problem when loading cutscenes;
- Reduced running speed player
- Increased time a player can run with stamina

I played Boiling Point and really liked it. Got Precursors on GamersGate but only played for a couple hours.

I played a fair amount of Precursors. Biggest problem with the game is that it has a huge open world that isn't really filled with anything. Most of the quests I got were MMO-ish collect x amount of y style, and as far as I could tell there wasn't much sense of progress in terms of items and skills. AI was dumb as hell too, which made combat boring.

I liked Boiling Point for what it was, but I have to be honest here and say I would still use it as a torture method for the uninitiated. Never got around to their later games so maybe they improved the formula, I don't know.

Didn't Precursor end in middle of the plot? I remember hitting the ending and nothing had really happened.

Tried playing Xenus 2, but some nasty bugs stopped me...

Reinstalled Precursors last night. There's a keygen now, so that's nice. Wow is the mouse control horrible.

Yeah, but then it's super slow, even at my mouse's max DPI. I'm sure I'll find a workable balance, was just whining.

Sidequests in Boiling point consist mostly of this so far:

1-Assassinate/eliminate local leader/Group of opposing faction
2-Steal documents/laptop/vehicle/valuables from opposing faction
3-Photograph someone from opposing faction(a little rare)
4-Destroy vehicles/weapons depot/warehouse from opposing faction
5-persuade someone
6-Free member of X faction from prison

Main quests got more variety and sometimes is integrated with secondary quests(tough i can only confirm the first part, wish consist of confronting Don Pedro).
