Dead Space 1 and 2 aren't even that different, not sure how somebody can like one but hate the other. Both are solid action games in my book and neither is good at horror.
DS2 is much more action focus, there's much more set pieces and let atmospheric wandering.

Dead Space got resurrected and then died again.

Meanwhile RE4make sold over 4 millions...
They got the right thing going with their character design (PR wise), even if Ashley's redesign was questionable.

Meanwhile, all EA was concerned about is gender neutral restrooms. They changed Isaac to Adam Sandler and his girlfriend is now 30 years older (so you wouldn't accidentally fap).
