Actually, there's a serious reason for lynching him. If CJM was innocent, Grimgravy would have just added Whiteguts in (CJM was only missing one round and could easily return). CJM clearly has a special role (ie killer) that needs replacing, hence the classification that Whiteguts is taking over his role, instead of just being added to the game.

if he got added without taking an existing place he would definitely be innocent tho, which wouldn't work. him replacing someone straight up doesn't mean anything about his role either way.
