I think I figured it out: When you get access to GD, you learn that the Codex is a hoax. Everyone actually thinks games like Gold Box are banal shit, and don't even mention PST or Fallout. Actually, the site started as a love letter to BioWare, and now they're all waiting impatiently for ME4 and TESO.
