I wish recent "retro" cRPGs were, to classic cRPGs, what this game is to Zeldaesque jRPGs. In terms of features at least, the general atmosphere is a bit too silly.

That will never happen, they are not even able, most of the time, to have the same graphic quality than 90's game, that with less features.

Doesn't belong in this forum, but I've been playing it a bit and it's pretty fun if you were a fan of the 8-bit console generation. It has a pretty good sense of humour, too. The female main character says something to the effect of "Oh, this treasure is getting me so hot! My sense of adventure is gushing!"

Not grade A humor but still surprisingly funny in a game like this. And it is English and not nearly as Japanese-ish as this trailer would lead you to believe.
