The giveaway was the part about them paying his legal expenses. The money in any settlement is going to be going all one way so if they are paying his expenses, they are paying the rest of the settlement as well.

The Karissa law team were in trouble for that because there were procedures they were supposed to follow and they did not (after signing statements claiming they were familiar with Illinois law).
