I was browsing through tactics titles and I noticed this screenshot from a game called "Breach" on the Amiga.

What caught my eye was the U.I. It's the same (bad) U.I as X-com, and to my knowledge the first instance of it.

I never played any of the Breach titles. Has anyone here? If so, please post some impressions.

I played breach 3 back in the underdog days. It was prob cool for the time it was released but i dont think it aged very well. iirc it was tactics on ships (and the name comes from beign able to breach the hulls of the ships etc)

The Breach series is fucking classic. Really incredibly ambitious for the time with the games interlocking, having scenario and campaign editors and Breach 2 even being able to be used together with fleet simulator Rules of Engagement. Loved them back in the day. Clunky as hell tho.
