We're bashing fatties right now. Wait for your turn.:x

Attack on TB is a much higher priority.

I don’t think the game mechanic is as important. Game mechanics have to be fun and fulfilling. It doesn’t need to conform to one type of gameplay like for instance turn based classic Final Fantasy-like. That’s why I went for RTS. I think it’s a very natural progression. The only reason why they did turn based back in the day was because they could do nothing else. Nowadays we can take things to real time easier.
WHY SO MANY RETARDS SAY STUFF LIKE THIS?
:mob:

If this is popular, many future TB RPG developers will be tempted to switch to RTS with their kickstarter campaigns:rage:

looks like Europe is the last bastion of hope for TB cRPGs (Original Sin, Balrum, Underrail)

Serpent in the Staglands Divinity: Original Sin Project: Eternity Torment: Tides of Numenera Shadorwun: Hong Kong
Obsidian already blew away Wasteland 2 with their RTwP IE crap.

InXile still wouldn't commit to RT with Torment, and then set another record.

I would put the blame for the scale of the overeating epidemics on the food industry which creates lots processed food with "optimized" taste that turns lots of people into food junkies because they buy more food than healthy people. Additionally these processed foods are often cynically advertised as healthy.
Also, that processed, unhealthy food is usually quite a bit cheaper than healthy food. I think somebody in this thread mentioned they hate fat people because being fat is like a rich decadence or something. It's not. At least in the first world, poor people are much more likely to be obese than rich people.

When Legolas shoots his arrows he kills everyone in one hit, right? It’s the same thing.

G: Does it work the same the other way around? Do the heroes get killed in one hit too, or they’re more resilient?

HY: They’re heroes, so they resist more...

So basically RT with buttloads of trash mobs.

I stopped being obese when I got on Welbutrin. I had no energy to move before that and gained weight not because overeating. I eat the same as I did before, but now I actually do things so it is muscle instead of fat.

It's not like people wish to lack willpower. Also, from what I've read there's some fundamental difference in how brain works in people who overeat and that willpower is simply not enough to stop overeating (not to mention that it may be already used up for doing other stuff).
But their brains work differently because they overeat or they overeat because their brains work differently?

I would put the blame for the scale of the overeating epidemics on the food industry which creates lots processed food with "optimized" taste that turns lots of people into food junkies because they buy more food than healthy people. I eat this kind of food all the time and I'm not fat. Actually some years ago I was pretty skinny.

Avoid abusing carbohydrates is a good start and you don't need too much willpower to do this.

Also, that processed, unhealthy food is usually quite a bit cheaper than healthy food. I think somebody in this thread mentioned they hate fat people because being fat is like a rich decadence or something. It's not. Or perhaps because poor people are even more stupid.

Another thing RE overweight/obesity, losing fat can be more difficult for some which requires an extra effort on their behalf, some are lucky and have a naturally fast metabolism and can eat all the garbage food and not put on any fat, some require the effort of counting calories with strict macro-nutrient balance and exercise regimen. The lack of education about healthy lifestyle choices, willingness of a society to accept every victim due to a culture of tolerance and the challenge of purchasing and cooking a healthy balanced meal vs cheap takeaway in an instant gratification world help to create this epidemic.

Second-Best thread ever indeed

Fatties are disgusting, pathetic tubs of blog-lard yuck fuck.
There is a difference between FATTIES (IE disgusting people who become lard-monsters) and normal people (who have a pot-belly at best). Look at the body. People who look like the michellin mashmellow man are FATTIES. I was one once, NEVER AGAIN!

FATTIES aren't totally at a fault, many times it IS biological. But some of them are nothing but pathetic beings. They block our way, they are slow, they OFFEND MY EYES! THEY'RE DISGUSTING! They should cover themselves! I don't want to look at them, NOBODY DOES! BUY A FULL-BODY ROBE! KILL THEM ALL! :rage:

obviously you have never seen the massive volume of BBW porn on the internet. Plenty of guys want a tub full o' lovin'.

Yeah, while my native kwanzia might plow down the Doritos there is also the simple issue of people not moving enough. I would actually say that is a worse issue than anything else.

My wife had some health problems for years after giving birth which made her much more lethargic, which is why she gained weight. Her health has improved and we are working on thinning her out now, but for women it takes a looooooot of time to lose significant amounts of weight.

Point is: it's not always food or bad life choices. Stop being hateful fucks (except about video games).

in my case the depression was so severe that i literally atrophied into a vegetable. Once on meds i started an exercise routine of walking 100 feet - that wore me out for the day. After about 6-8 months, my routine extended to several miles at almost a jog for at least 45min a day, 7 days a week.

I hate having to look at fat people, but fortunately they rarely leave their trailers. And the fatter everyone else gets, the better I look by comparison. Bring on the butterpocalypse!

That designer is a retard. TB is only going to be obsolete the day they invent a perfect Mind-Machine interface, perhaps not even then. TB allows a more calculated, strategic rythm of combat and flux. It makes single attacks more meaningful and combat less repetitive than mindless mouseclicking and button-pressing. It also denies both the AI and the player any advantage through popamole of clickspeed, and rather allows player smarts and character skill to dominate.

This. This kickstarter is causing me more and more butthurt, the more I know about it.

Meh I think it's more likely that skinny people eat less than they think and fat people eat more than they think.

Challenge implies work? What the fuck are you on about? My student job sure as fuck isn't challenging, and Super Meat Boy sure as fuck isn't work. The two concepts are not even remotely related by definition. What the fuck.

Boring jobs are boring because they're repetitive rather than challenging. Which is why I love playing varied and interesting games with at least a tiny bit of challenge, but quit WoW after two weeks of playing because fuck that shit, it's like work.

irritation and frustration are GOOD things in game design when they come in small doses. The irritation and frustration often accompany difficulty, and overcoming that difficulty produces satisfaction. If you never experience any irritation or frustration, the game is so simple or easy that it demands nothing of you.

Challenge means fun, games that are not challenging are usually boring boring as fuck. Challenging gameplay also helps to create that "immersion" thing that all the creative visionary celebrity game designers like to yap about. Comparing challenging games to work is one of the most retarded game-related things i've read. What is more like "work": Dark Souls or Cow Clicker (or whatever the fuck it's called)?

Work is not a synonym for fun. What a dipshit. Afraid of saying "work is not fun" so he doesn't get "but I have fun with my work" responses, he says something even more dumb.
Well, guess what, moron. Work is also not a synonym for money, but you get money from it.
