I have strong suspicion that Codex' hate of Beamdog has something to do with that gog.com banner in upper right corner... That, or boredom caused by prolonged absence of Bioware-related lulz.
What the fuck are you talking about? We hate BGEE because it is a bug infested, technically inferior version of a classic, which can be bought for dirt on other sites.
Sites? I'm only aware of just one particular Polish site, that happens to have idiotic pricing policy(catering only to kwans and EU-tards) and a banner that seems to bring even if a few, but still a coins to the master race.
Lets look at this from business perspective. We have a new dev, who also happens to own and promote its own new digital distribution platform(with same kind of idiotic pricing). This dev clearly states that it will be specializing in Infinity Engine type of games. Other, not so new dev, happens to sell this type of games for a long time on their own digital distribution platform. What I see here is a battle for a niche market, and Codex has a bias in it. Its perfectly understandable, everyone has to earn its living I guess, its just the blatant lies here and there thats bothersome. And advices to stick to the mods, while makers of these mods try to earn a buck or two working for this new dev.
