Of course it does. His anti-Steam stance (in terms of financial gain) was moronic. Some developers are just too hung up on the laughable 'devaluation' of their game/IP mindset. Your game is worth what the majority of people are willing to pay for it. If you sell 1,000 units at a $20 price point and 25,000 at a $10 price point it doesn't take an economist to figure out the sweet spot in terms of profit margin. People can say what they want about GabeN but the man knows how to manipulate sales, price points, etc. to maximize revenue.
