DU you're retreating way too fast. Lawyers love intimidating people with C&D letters but here's the thing... C&D letters are not the law. You aren't obliged to turn over anything to this bozo without a court order. And he won't get one unless someone on here threatens to physically harm him or starts asserting blatant untruths for the sake of slander alone. Calling him names isn't defamation. Suing someone because they called you a generic insult name would arguably be a Rule 11 violation for filing a frivolous lawsuit.

DarkUnderlord, in the Letter:

If you require contact details, including IP addresses and timestamps for certain posts or their registered email addresses, I will be happy to oblige, provided you are able to supply a legal ruling from a court entitling you to this information.

DarkUnderlord, in the News:

That means we may be legally required to give a lawyer IP addresses and timestamps, along with your registered email address or other details about your account.

And he won't get one unless someone on here threatens to physically harm him or starts asserting blatant untruths for the sake of slander alone.
Which is what has happened, just by the way. Seems some here got a little bit too over-eager.

That's provided there was someone in court to make the case on behalf of the Codex. And again, as you note, is potentially over-ruled by the above.

I'm sure the authorities in Mongolia will promptly extradite shiteatingnippledick to the US to stand trial for threatening Mr. Whinin' P. Clowningson, Esq. on the Internet.

I'll beat up and deliver myself to the front door of his office for half the price, thank you.

African warlords would rather throw their half in the garbage after they intercept the shipment than give it to this kid. That is a hard thing to fix. One guy in Liberia was laughing about how his troops dumped several tons of grain into the ocean because they already had enough to last them years.

PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Strap Yourselves In Codex Year of the Donut Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
The guy truly Kevorkianed his career, which depends on impressions and social engineering. Totally destroyed himself.

Also, what the hell happened to Europe? Did they really honest-to-god put that terrifying Orwellian law through? I cannot believe people have gotten that stupid. Seriously. Straight out of Mike Judge's IDIOCRACY. Could be a prequel to that film. "The right to forget about stuff you said online and what other people said about it in return." Can that seriously be happening as a thing in the real world? Hitler wins in the end, after all.

I bet half the internet would go dark if Cleve filed a "right to be forgotten" report.

It would be amusing if everybody in the EU started making those so the internet was blank.

Infinitron hinted in the shoutbox that there's more to this case.
And It just occurred to me, Ryan Morrison == Bryce.

It makes perfect sense; After years of being rejected by the Codex, he became a lawyer and is bringing the fight back to us.
Simply diabolical.
