And what do you burn apart from Witchers?

So yeah.

More worthless Quigs rambling.

Was reccomended Bloodlines and Witcher recently by denizens of the `dex. Beat bloodlines quickly, enjoyed it, figured their good judgement would prove handy with the Witcher as well.

Enjoying it a bit so far, and kinda digging the universe, except after the first hour into the campaign or so, every once and a while it randomly crashes for no reason. I've done all the normal crap, updated drivers, restarted, defragged, messed with settings, bla bla. Is there some trick im missing, or did CDP just do a crap job at coding?

Your ignore list.
Polacks just don't have coding skills.

Actually, the only thing I recall Polacks being good at is breeding hot chicks for beer ads.

Finally someone who agrees with me on the NWN2 camera. Besides this, however, I couldn't understand a word you said.

NWN 1 &2 camera was absolute shit...

[EDIT]
Just buy TWEE from GAME!!!!STOP!!!! for $40. Iy's the only "rpg" worth buying thid year for PCs, although, potentiallym expect probmes, but see my bitching posts to "fix" them...

i.e. the old patches were OK, but the EE edition is pretty f-ing phenomal as dar as performance goes... (one you get it workingm but if it crashes, just search for mss32.dll. If you have onboard sound, run dxdiag and drop acell to one les than max o.w. wait for me to post a "better" fix... [EDIT2] If I remember to... [/EDIT2]
[/EDIT]

The original edition of the Witcher used to crash on me a lot. The EE one only crashes once every five or so times when it attempts to autosave. Though outside of much shorter load times, I don't really notice any boosts in performance.

On my computer, "The Wytcher" kept crashing every 70-80 minutes. After a while, I simply took the habit of saving and quitting the game after I'd played for about an hour, then re-starting it and loading my save.

When I first played the game, there were also massive slowdowns in Chapter 3, but the patch corrected that.

Despite the crashes, a very good game.

Disable the autosave. Should fix the problem.
