Hah really? High bar to clear - I had everything you listed except that.
OS2/Warp
That's what she said.High bar to clear - I had everything you listed except that.
We were not abnormals though, so we always had run of the mill M$ operating systems in our house
The amiga was a much more affordable machine, while i was gaming with 32 colors on screen, the other kids had either an atari st or a pc. Pc players had CGA graphics not even ega , it was too expensive, none had soundblaster or roland mT 32 , they usedinternal beeper.Amiga CRPGs all look awful, unless they happen to be also on PC
while i was gaming with 32 colors on screen, the other kids had either an atari st or a pc.
I am not talking about the demo scene, i am talking about t he average use of those computers wich were used as improved console most of the time, that means 32 colors even if you can put 4096 on screen. I never intended to picture myself as the cool kid with an amiga, i wasnt the only one, i want to describe what was gaming back then. No one owned a gaming pc .while i was gaming with 32 colors on screen, the other kids had either an atari st or a pc.
Aww, look. In its extreme butthurt the lameo marked my thousand or so posts on the Codex as "shit". What a fuckin' lameo. And now it pretends it was the only cool kid at school with an Amiga. tbqh, that is fuckin' hilarious!
As is the lameo's parrotting of the Amiga's 32 colors as if that's the limit of its palette, when even the casual Amigan knows that many of their games displayed dozens more than that (and without the AGA chipset). Lrn how to boast, you lameo. Notice how the lameo doesn't mention the blitter, the copper and the DMA? That's because it doesn't know what those are. It doesn't know what truly made Amiga gaming and demoscene special, what separated it from ST/PC.
Then the lameo cites the AGA version of EotB, like it means anything. A fuckin' PC port. A "game" that was always superior on the PC. AGA came too late. It wasn't up to spec, so it never caught on. Common fuckin' knowledge for a non-lameo. It doesn't know what the flagship Amiga titles are, the ones that showcased its true heyday. It only knows the gay-bar RPGs that it found out about from YouTube 20 years after the fact, none of which tapped into custom chips.
Two words for you, you fuckin' lameo: bathtub and toaster.
In an amiga thread it wold be far more appropriate to use term lamer instead.while i was gaming with 32 colors on screen, the other kids had either an atari st or a pc.

I am sorry for your crippling autism, but just because I am well aware of the difference does not mean I commit overly much time to proofreading forum posts from smartphones. It might help with your credibility farming post if you actually knew the difference between a NES and a SNES (here's a hint, CV1-3 weren't on the SNES), and didn't play 4:3 games stretched out horribly on a 16:9 laggy lcd.
Oh btw. afaik Eye of the Beholder AGA-versions were made just couple of years ago
