<p><a href="http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/age-of-empires-iii-the-asian-dynasties/788618p1.html" target="_blank">Gamespy</a> went one-on-one with <a href="http://www.bighugegames.com/" target="_blank">Big Huge Games'</a> Brian Reynolds to find out about <a href="http://www.agecommunity.com/press.aspx?PressReleaseID=161" target="_blank">Age of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties</a>.</p><blockquote><p>GameSpy: Can you give us a sneak peek at some of the new units and tell us what they do?
</p>Reynolds: It should come as no surprise that the Japanese army will focus on its cornerstone Samurai unit. The Age of Empires III world has experienced brief visits from Ronin Samurai mercenaries, so players familiar with those units will know that Samurai will be quite powerful hand-to-hand fighters -- though only the ultra-elite Hatamoto Samurai will meet and exceed the capabilities of those mercenaries. Also I think the new Daimyo unit may turn out to be the most strategically powerful unit ever introduced into the game system, but we'll go into the details later.</blockquote><p>Spotted @ <a href="http://www.bluesnews.com">Blues News</a></p>
