  1. Editorial Bloodlines Retrospective

Yeah ... 'were' being the operative word ... which might just explain why an article that really belonged at the Watch was at GearDiary ...
  2. Editorial Bloodlines Retrospective

Did you notice my join date? I've been around here for ages, just not actively. As for writing less stupid shit ... well, many here crapped on stuff I wrote for GamerDad, AceGamez, VGBlogger and RPGWatch ... so why should I disappoint my faithful haterz?!?! :D
  3. Editorial Bloodlines Retrospective

Cool ... if I manage to rub some of the moron pissant trolls at the Codex the wrong way I know I'm doing SOMETHING right! :D
  4. Review Fallout 3's Silver Lining at RPG Watch

I think my statement about how FO3 is one of the better games of the last couple of years says more about the state of gaming and RPG in specific than about FO3. I agree more with your summation of the 'Year in Review' ... as I'm writing my own Year in Review for GamerDad and will state...
  5. No love for the upcoming Civilization 4 expansion?

Jeez ... I love the game and hadn't planned to break it out until the expansion ... but I dunno, you guys are reminding me of all the cool stuff again ...
  6. No love for the upcoming Civilization 4 expansion?

I thought Warlords was pretty good - especially since it was available for really good sale prices from almost day of release. I will definitely be getting this one as soon as it hits.
  7. Game News Something special about Gods: Lands of Infinity

... right now DreamCatcher are kicking themselves for not thinking of this for the Dungeon Lords CE ... oh well, they can always do an 'Ultimate Edition'!
  8. Game News Something special about Gods: Lands of Infinity

Right now I think it is just through TotalGaming.net - I don't know when the SE will become available though.
  9. Game News Something special about Gods: Lands of Infinity

I was in Best Buy last Friday and guess what? That POS MKA is *STILL* going for $50!
  10. Review Gothic 3 vs Oblivion at TGSN

Oh ... silly me, thinking it was a *compliment* ;)
  11. Review Gothic 3 vs Oblivion at TGSN

When did I miss the 'movie-like storyline' of Oblivion? I guess I nodded off for that part ...
  12. Game News New low for Dungeon Siege developers

True enough ... perhaps it is my reaction that is more interesting. While I was highly annoyed at SOCOM I had no issue in DS2 because it actually was something that interested me. Mike
  13. Game News New low for Dungeon Siege developers

This actually didn't bug me much when I saw it, since I alreay have a PSP and am planning to get the DS2 game for it. But I can certainly see why it would be called shameless - I was constantly irritated playing the SOCOM PSP game when PS2 'links' popped up (you have unlocked something on the...
  14. Review Dungeon Lords is meh per GamerDad

There is no 'problem', just a distinction. If you have ever taken kids to a Disney/Pixar film compared to a Dreamworks film, you will get that distinction - from one you get the story, the other you get fart jokes and kids singing 'I like big butts' ... nothing wrong with either, but I just...
  15. Review Dungeon Lords is meh per GamerDad

That is my review at GamerDad, so let me clarify. We do a 'Kid Factor', where we specify what issues might impact playing in front of kids, with kids, or kids playing the game themselves. In too many games, the women are displayed as 'eye candy', which might be fine in a game like Vampire...
