  1. how many jrpgs have you finished?

...does it ever? Zelda is one of the quintessential RPG games, even better than Fallout's lame-O combat, and rusty graphics.
  2. how many jrpgs have you finished?

Teh hardcorzers :D :) :D :) ... :D Alright, on topic. Tales of the Abyss Xenosaga: episode 1 ...only 2, sadly.
  3. Preview 'We've Made It Feel Like A Very Strong Console Game'

WOW, I'm so glad to see people really excited about this new game. Okay seriously, from what I've read, Dragon Age doesn't sound bad, but then again, I've move on from the, "RPGs are bout teh choice, and statz" way of thinking long ago. PS, I wonder if Dragon Age has Sandwich combat or not. :?
  4. Game News Divinity II Update - You can shapeshift into a Dragon

Well, this is as far as a new Breath of fire game as were going to get. xD Though seriously, there needs to be more games that allow you to shapeshift.
  5. Interview Bethesda - Returning to Oblivion?

So were never going to see a new Elder scrolls game? I was actually looking forward to seeing to how they would do a new entry in the series, not cling onto the dried up Oblivion tit. Fuck Oblivion, I want a new Elder scrolls game.
  6. Bioshock 2 details revealed - some heavy stuff

I tried a demo of SS2, and personally I like both games, because they are different in there own rights. Bioshock is easier, prettier, and has some pretty creepy moments. System Shock 2 has a great RPG style leveling up system (your rewarded for completing objectives, like traditional RPGs)...
  7. Game developers and their qualifications

I'm not sure if all game design classes are like that, though I can tell you a few things. My dad is currently taking a class in game design, and so far all there doing is practicing drawing...why you may ask? You don't have to be the best artist you have to be, you just need to be good enough...
  8. No love for the team based RPG

fgsfds = For god sakes fucking dip shit, is that right? I don't hate Baldur's Gate, though it's not my cup of tea, plus it get's way more recognition that it really needs. It's good, but it's not a slice of heaven.
  9. No love for the team based RPG

Alright, so I admit that I'm a frequent Youtube poster (a place for G-Tards) and I also happen to comment in the comment boxes. The comments that spawned the idea for this topic was in this video for Dragon age. If your not into clicking links, it went down like this. Of course, it wasn't long...
  10. Warren Spector's Steampunk Epic Mickey

I'm sorry, but was I the only one who caught that? Junction point is collaborating with Pixar, fucking Pixar, and all you guys have to say is whether or not it's going to have the one winged git? Am I the only one here who can see the awesomeness here?
  11. Game News All new DLC, combat and everything else in Witcher: Console

Cause this is the codex, and everybody must be negative towards something. I'm not too worried about The Witcher for consoles, because this can give Console players a chance to play The Witcher, and not miss out on it. Although I am skeptical, because they could dumb the combat down, remove...
  12. What are the commandments of the codex?

#1: An RPG must have a whole bunch of stats, and I do mean a whole bunch. #2: Any RPG that tries to be simple, must immediately be burned to oblivion. #3: There is no perfect action RPG, in fact, an RPG should not have any real time action in it, period. #4: An RPG should focus more on walls...
  13. Game News Fallout 3: Graphic tweaking, Japs can't handle nukes

I found this article to be complete bullshit. I mean come on, they're afraid to offend people who are used to This, this, this, and this? Heck, even Princess Mononoke had it's fair share of violence, and epic disaster, and that's a film intended for both young and adult...and Bethesda is afraid...
  14. Development Info First gory details of Deux Ex 3

I guess Herald DID get killed during the development of Fallout 3, and that's a joke I'm not sure he loves. Anyway, on topic, I guess before Deus ex, the guy working for that augmentation company was removed from power, since that, from what I hear, he sounds to much like a fucking god...
